[Trailhead] The Wolfbane Project Seems that there are too many wolfes running around at the moment.
Cano Lupin (CryofTheWolf) started to follow people on twitter. Everybody thought this is related to RU a werewolf - but it is not. Seems to be a game on its one.
Cano Lupin posted on twitter:
Quote:
Pna lbh svaq jung jnf "erpbirerq sebz gur nepuvirf bs gur Jbysonar Cebwrpg"?
The Mirror decoded it
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Rot 13: Can you find what was "recovered from the archives of the Wolfbane Project"?
and found this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKrXlJcu73I
from a guy named A rthur R odgers G reyson.

twitter convos CryOfTheWolf has told me via twitter that
A. he is NOT Arthur Robert Greyson
B. Greyson is alive
C. He doesn't know Greyson but he (Cryofthewolf) used to work on the Wolfbane Project.
He won't say where he is because he believes it's unsafe.
I know he's been direct messaging some other players too! This game seems like it's going to be wicked character-interactive. yay!
New Twitters from CryoftheWolf:

Translates to:
Hex: Have you seen the latest? SGF2ZSB5b3Ugc2VlbiB0aGUgbGF0ZXN0Pw==
That last part is base 64 for "Have you seen the latest?"
I believe that he's referring to the new video by Greyson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCqdvNfeWkI

Beat me to it! It sounds like backwards speech masked behind the wolf cry.

[Trailhead] The Wolfbane Project Well, I don't have a Twitter account but this sounds interesting, so I'm in and I'll help however I can.
Some interesting things about the name Cano Lupin:
1. Cano means "white-haired" old, or worthy
2. Lupin comes from Lupus, Latin for wolf
3. Lupin is also a type of legume, and it's leaves have silvery "hairs" on them
So, interesting werewolf connections, silver and (obviously) wolf.

Blue corn moon Well, from what I've read, the term "Blue corn moon" was actually made up for the song and it doesn't refer to any actual lunar phase. This leads me to believe Pocahontas is probably the right track. (At least until someone deciphers the backward speech! )
Snorkle, that audio still sounds backward???

I hear 15 dot host 56.com. (15.56.com)
That address brings you to an asian site, however.

I'm hearing "Wolfbane" instead of the 15 you guys are hearing?

I've reversed it too, though I can't post the file here (wrong format? .aup?) I'm hearing 'wolfbane.???.56.com. I'm working on cleaning up the file.
Got it.
