Yup. M=Madrigal. I seem to remember that we had a good, thorough 1-2 pages long discussion on why the Cahill key has the Madrigal sign.

Chapter one-liners
I'm asking . . .

I was just wondering if i could put the chapter one liners from wikibruce on my wiki. I'm asking because that is the right thing to do. If not i will put a link to wikibruce for them.

P.S. Have any of you checked my wiki lately? I put a count down to the next book and it's not just days; it has minutes and seconds too. Razz

See...there's a good reason to register. If you register whenever you make a post your signature slips in right under it. And your signature can have that same "Come visit my cool site" type message and even include a link to the site.

Yup, you really should register.

And as for your question, I think it will be more courteous to all of the wikibruce creators if you put the link to the website, or you can just copy and then give wikibruce the credit at the end of the page. Cool

And I'm glad you asked! Very Happy

 BREAKING NEWS!!!!
Seriously, no joke.

I just went to my local bookstore and saw Beyond The Grave on sale! Very Happy Shocked I even touched it to feel whether it was real but there it was.

Unfortunately, there were several problems. I didn't have enough money, the book was all wrapped up and the synopsis was blocked. Crying or Very sad

Will try to buy it tomorrow. I'm so exited! Just cant wait!Very Happy Laughing Very Happy

Bluedawg. I was able to get the audio books for book 1 & 2 and make transcripts. My library never bought the audio book for book 3. I know things will be super hectic next week, but maybe when things calm down, ... if you could either rip the bonus track, or transcribe the bonus track, we'd love to have a copy on the wiki.

joek1234,
back in March, you gave us your surveillance code of 222pnxrnx2 .
We could never get that code to work. Can you double check your Book 1 codes (it's on cards 1-6) ?

If I squint, I can see Lucian, Tomas, or even Lorax 13.
The "key" could even be the Eye of Horus.
Edit: wait, this is Book 5, which doesn't focus on Egypt. Hmm.

I zoomed-in on Amazon The Black Circle - they have a clearer picture.
No Eye of Horus for Book 5. No "Lorax 13". Confused

Book 4 Report

From: Ekatprof
To: All Cahills

Fellow Cahill relatives,

I have bought and read book 4 Beyond The Grave and let me tell you, your perception of the 39 clues will never be the same. The Clue is not what you expect. The cards dont make sense. Betrayal is everywhere.

This is the best book of the 4 39 clues so far......

You may not want to be an Ekat after reading this book.......

Sincerely,
Ekatprof

Congrats.
I went ahead a made a separate thread for Book discussion and spoilers, but I don't expect it to get used until Tuesday night when more people read the book.
Note to everyone, please keep book discussion (especially spoilers) out of the main thread.
I'm also making a "new card pack" thread. If there are other things that need to be discussed (maybe new "combo" features, or discussion of a website overhaul), feel free to make a new topic/thread. Lets use the main thread for 1)replies to threads already here, and 2)things that don't deserve their own thread. I expect an explosion of posts next week.

I do have a non-spoiler question for Ekatprof. Are the book 4 cards numbered 74-79? or is there a gap? I might work on the wiki on Monday to be ready for the 80 new cards in the card packs, and the 6 new book cards. (I'll create a separate thread for that, too).

Yes, the cards are numbered from 74-79. Why did you expect a gap? I always thought Scholastic will continue where they left off.

Hi Sapagoo!

I'll be happy to rip both audio's for Books 3 and 4 -- and transcribe them.
I'll just need to know where to send them.
I'm sure next week will be busy here ... but if I can finish up all of my assesments this weekend, then I'll have some time to do the transcribing.

Re: Book 5 .... Do you know I'm not sure where I got my original picture of Book 5 from -- if it was from the 39 clues website or Amazon? However, I noticed that after I found the wording and the eye of Horus design ... I could no longer find these discrepencies in other pictures of Book 5 I looked at. Mystery.... ?? It will be interesting to see what the real story is when the book comes out ...

Ekatprof ... I am soooo jealous! I am going to go look today if any one has BTG on sale as of now. I can't wait to tell the kids at school today of your synopsis.

I am asking them to buy book 4 this time ... I'll still see if I am able to get a minimized class set ~ 10 ... but might have to wait until our next Scholastic Book Fair at school. Teachers get Buy 1 get 1 Free! Very Happy

We have just started Book 2 and will finish this by the time school lets out We'll try to continue to meet for the summer, perhaps at our local university's library if I can get permission for computer use for the kids. We're behind, but the kids will be in the drawing at least for the Book 3 Mission and Book 3 cards. I'm like one of the kids. They love this series as much as I.

Next week, I'll try to get better organized to be participative here more.

Hugs and love to all -- Have a glorious weekend!

~ Bluedawg
