The Money: Buried with Bodnick?

Wild speculation:

At the end of ep.3, Dawn says to Jim about the money, "Where did it come from, and more importantly... where is it now?" Then they cut immediately to Bodnick's burial, where our good friends Shadrak and Mary are present and exchange knowing glances.

My theory? The money is buried in Silas' grave... or the Bible. I think the Ultimate Solve will involve a phone call to Watermark Consolidated's toll-free number, where we'll have to enter someone's extension (revealed in a later episode, or the "final clue" even) and tell them where the money is. Or perhaps where the Bible is, and they'll exchange the money for it.

Then again... there ARE 10 episodes left and plenty of time for the money to move again. Confused

I think all signs point to the money currently being in the coffin. Remember shadrack went in the funeral parlor after the viewing; but when he left he was ascosted by the the grave diggers. He did not have the money, but he did have a bible. I don't if it was "the bible". Whether it is really there or will be moved later, I will just have to watch. I wonder if the article in the push time about the funeral director has a clue that i missed the first time

Misdirection

Perhaps the coffin is just misdirection.

First of all we are assuming that Shadrack had the money with him when he went to the funeral home. I'll have to relook at the video, but I dont think we could actually see the money in the bags when he was arriving at there.. just saw it when he dug it up. He could have hidden it again or given it someone else and kept the bags..

Just because we see Shadrack in the funeral parlor with the coffin and a few minutes later when the grave diggers stop him to check his bags theres nothing there doesnt mean that he put it in the coffin. He could have hid it in the actual funeral home.

Did anybody see Swordfish.. it was all about misdirection. Did you actually see what you think you saw or did you only see part of it and your mind logically went to the next step.

My first thought is was in the coffin, but then I thought what a pain, someones going to have to go dig up what's left of that nasty smelly old man (that is if the suits arent keeping an eye on the funeral home with all the comings and goings Wink ), so I got to thinking, bet it isnt even there..

Not seeing what your mind thought you saw. Misdirection
