Got a forthcomiing email reply from Cano:
Quote:
(I am...) Doctor of Science.
And we did, at one point, try using wolfsbane in part of the project, but the name had nothing to do with that fact, as it was just the best name we could think of for the project.

We all came up with names for it, and then voted on which one was the best, and The Wolfbane Project won.

- Loni.

Signature:
I chase the moon across the sky.

Guess it just leads to more questions and suspicions but I enjoyed making ctc.

I spoke again to Cano about their identity. He confirmed that his name is Loni Pacun, after which he opened a chat with me.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
me: I have to admit, Olin was a bit of a stretch. I didn't even see 'Loni'.
Cano: Well, that's my name.
Good work
me: Sorry if you don't like us trying to dredge up the past like this, but we're trying to find out what all happened
How did the "Wolf" escape? There must have been measures in place to keep he/she/it secure.
Cano: We had not captured "Wolf" yet.
Until
After
The
Disappearances
me: Ah, that's right.
Cano: You still havent followed the next hint.
Can you smell the scent
of a clue?
me: I'm a bit behind, myself.
Cano: I chase the moon across the sky.
me: Seems like the Sun would be my first guess
Cano: No.
The moon chases the sun.
What chases the moon?
Or... who?
me: Hati
Cano: Yes, he belongs with Fenrir.
me: Clever
Cano: Now where will you put him?
me: Accessing the log now
Cano: Goodbye for now.
me: Bye, Dr. Pacun

Spoiled because the location of the next log is worked out in the chat.

Edit: Darn you, Dead Very Happy

The "yeehat Indians" are from Jack London's Call of the Wild, a book that features Buck the dog as a main character. god that book broke my soul in high school. Jack London is freakin' brutal!

All Yeehat info I can find refers to "Call of the Wild", and the only legend I've dug up from that is one called the "Ghost Dog"???

Nice, Mirror.

My first idea was to use 'loup', french for Wolf. Smile

Imagecipher.com finds...er...something in that png.

ddafYsaefOdehaSa

I'm not at my own PC so I don't have anything better to try to pull the image apart at the moment, though.

What do you think is up with Asgardig saying that they are part of cuttinging-edge tech? Typo or clue?
Icerimp, when we got one of those before Bruce figured it out. I have mac so I can't desteg it (unless someone knows of a mac compatible destegging tool).

AND, just for my own education, how did you find the code in the image? I still suck at image work.

Probably stegged. I've got it on Photoshop now, but it doesn't appear to be layered. I'll keep looking, but I'm not capable of Destegging.

It could be that it's passworded also, so it's coming out gibberish. I've been trying various things, but no clear result.

Edit: Nevermind, look at the file size on it.

Huh? I have 1.9M or over 1 million bytes. Anything over 100,000 is capable of being stegged as far as I know???

EDIT: Although, I'm not 100% sure a PNG can be stegged????

Yeah, that's what I mean. It's big. Smile

Edit: I was pretty sure you can steg a .png file. But I'm not an expert on this, by far.

Well, I've been Photoshopping the image for awhile now, and other than a few small areas around the eyes and nose I haven't found any altering. It's taken from a piece of film stock rather than a photograph and the hues have been altered for effect but that's about it. I think Stegging is our best bet.

Anyone who is in contact with Agent Grayson care to advise him of the 2 new finds this morning? Laughing

I couldn't decrypt the symbols you got, DbD.

I've tried 2 steg programs (Xiao and Our Secret) with no success. I'll keep trying.

EDIT: Also, a trip back to asgard.tk results in a new logo showing. Tricky PM has triggered it to disappear on mouse-over. Mad
