EXCELLENT work, Darrell! I remember you solving something else on the blog early in the game, so you're definitely proving to be one of the team's most valuable sleuths.

Allow me to offer a suggestion for you and for other awesome puzzle solvers, when posting solutions (or any "hidden finds") to the board: you may want to consider using a special "spoiler" tag that unFiction provides when entering messages. There are some folks (I am not one of them) who try to continue solving puzzles on their own and use the discussion board to catch up once they solve them, so the spoiler tag will "hide" solutions so they aren't inadvertently seen.

Here's how it works, start your solution with this:

. And then it shows up on the board looking like this:

Well summarized! I think Niel's concern (or maybe R33pich33p's) is that Chenchey don't know what they're doing, and will misuse the energies in a way that could put the entire world at risk (more dangerous even than the Large Hadron Collider). Maybe Niel heard them talking about breaking the oscillation boundary of 108?

I think R33P might be a Chenchey insider, since he/she has access to these documents. Or a skilled hacker. Maybe even Sara?

 		I'm thinking Chenchey and the 8th spoke have some ties here. And what about those names on the staff page? They could be aliases for the scientists at 8th spoke...and I'm wondering if r33pich33p is Aidoneus??

 		A few more wild theories:. Wink I thought about a connection between The 8th Spoke and Chenchey too, Zoran Savo, founder of the Chenchey institute, worked together with Alvar Hanso. The Hanso foundation is directly connected to the 8th Spoke via Alexander Berne. If the 8th Spoke is a club of Dharma families, celebrating the Remembrance Day on the date Ben Linus killed nearly every Dharma Member, it's possible they believe in a way to find LOST-island through the anomalies of St. Ignace and the Azores. I think this is the same reason Widmore's I.Theta project was established.

Nathaniel found the location - how he did this is still a secret but for the Dharma/8th Spoke folks it might have looked like he has a "gift", he is "special".

BTW: There's also a connection between Niel and The 8th Spoke: in his Profile on LinkedIn he states that before joining the Widmore Family he was scientist in Ann Arbour.

I agree. But I don't know if they are trying to find the island, or recreate the anomolies that occurred on the island in a different place.

Anywho, I noticed another connection between Chenchey and the Dharma Initiative. According to Lostpedia, Dharma claimed that the work on the island was being conducted for "the betterment of mankind." On the Chenchey Institute's staff page, they say this:

"The Chenchey Institute consists of hundreds of hard-working scientists, humanitarians and philanthropists who put their minds to work everyday for the betterment of our species."

I just thought "betterment" was an unusual word for such an advanced institute. I see it as a subtle, yet obvious, tie to Dharma/8th Spoke.

Possible too, of course. Besides the speculations, is there anything concrete we could do right now?

Hope, Sara will reply to my comment, whether or not her Dad mentioned Francisco Nitti and/or Chenchey...Thought there could be a relation between Nitti and Heisenberg, 'cause Niel is Italian and (regarding to the name) Nitti is Italian, too. Perhaps they met when Niel was in Italy...(Yes I know, not all Italians know each other...Very Happy )

LOL. It's very possible since Netti works for a company that appears to be linked to 8th Spoke and Niel once worked at MSU.

Do you think "The Netti Family" is what we were looking for? It just seemed way too easy...

EDIT: Maybe that was Niel's way "in".

That's the question that puzzles me too. We'ra not even sure if "The Nitti Family" was the result of that code...but tried some other decodings too, without result...The most obvious clue is the name Francisco Nitti in the Chenchey staff. Even tried to find him at facebook, linkedin and various URLs...without success...so perhaps we have to wait for Sara's response...
