No, I hadn't noticed that. Weirrrrrdddd....

I will never be able to think about that number in the same way again. I'm beginning to think that Mark Dawber and his 27 site was on to something! It seems to be in EVERYTHING!

Right I can't keep my eyes open anymore - I need sleep. Catch you all in the morning!

Hope someone has more luck with this than me - just can't find an answer no matter which way I look at it. I don't even know what I'm looking FOR!

Happy sleuthing!

I know what you mean, this is going to be like 108 was for me when Lost first came on, I saw that number everywhere! And now, 27 seems to be showing up in various places too.

Also, I wonder if those books on the 8th Spoke page are coming more into play now? For example, one of the lines on the finalis page mentions a possible apocalypse...and one of the books was called "The End of Time"

EDIT: I just found this in the source code of the finalis page: finalis/sq.jpg

Which brings me here: http://www.chencheyinstituteofresearch.com/finalis/sq.jpg

Now where is this square on the actual page?

I think it's just the background onthe page.

i saw that earlier, but that's just the background image, i believe, but the fact that there is a "finalis" directory in addition to the .htm seems important to me, because there's got to be something else there, otherwise he would've just put the two images in the "images" directory...

Just wanted to point out that the PM has used double double words before to draw attention to stuff. Remember the Certificate of Recognition from earlier in the game? http://twitpic.com/5vmkm

The PM is obviously rather intelligent, and knows his way around a computer. I have a hard time believing that *any* double wordings and or misspellings are coincidental / accidents.

That's kinda what I thought when I kept finding them. One mistake I might have ignored, but there were too many. What do you think it means? I'm stumped...no luck with anagrams...okay, I was being lazy and gave up pretty easily. I'm a slacker. Rolling Eyes

On the staff page an "is" is missing. Is this old news?

"The Chenchey Institute home to hundreds of hard-working scientists,"

This is what I have: "The Chenchey Institute consists of hundreds of hard-working scientists"

This was under the "Our Staff" part, is that what you're referring to?

EDIT, nevermind, i see what you mean

OK...so assuming Erin's letters that she posted earlier are correct Wink , that would give us:

O N X I A A N C I S

right?

C-Axis anion?

an axis coin?

stupid anagrams....

EDIT: make that O N X I A A N G I S?
Is that what we are working with? Oh, I'd better go back and make sure....

EDIT 2: Working to make...
ox sin again?
no six again?
six on again?

Ugh....

Well we may have to use the corrected version of "thenittifamily" which would mean using the letters NMY instead of ONX

This gives MY N IS AGAIN WORKING TO MAKE.

Which really doesn't help does it?

is the the closest i come to anything worth...anything.

Also, in the about section, it says that Savo won the "IU Humanitas Award"
I was wondering if maybe that should be HumanitIES. But since it doesn't exist, I guess we can't know....Oh well...We don't need more letters, anyhow.

I thought about that too, but it does exist. Wink Check it out.

EDIT: I don't know if there's an "IU" Humanitas Award though. Haven't been able to find anything on it specifically.
