PQI Convo compiled

pjv2 wrote:
after running a few of these audio files through mp3steg software i couldn't decode them.

I was operating off the assumtion that they recorded the conversations then split them then steged them.

What if they recorded than steged then split. This could be why we have the cue sounds in the files.

Are any of the conversations 100% complete and in order?

Any guesses at passwords besides putting there titles in order?

Yes, I have been compiling them ask quickly as possible. The Pop Quiz convo is complete, both with opening "que up" and closing "que down"

This file has been compressed from 21MB to 5.2 if you want the 44.1Khz 16 Bit Stereo version, e-mail me at thecelestrianSPLATmac.com

Well I sincerly hope we don't need to get 210 Confused I'd think people would lose interest too quickly, so anyone with new theories? I think just about every theory with some proof has been expressed (we've been at this for how long now!?) So Unless I get something new after pillow axong goes hot, I'm gonna end up like the others....... in the fetal position, ina corner humming something about bees. Shocked

the problem with this hypothesis is that the PMs only used one phone line, and expected this to be enough.

Yes, the PM's could technically make several calls at once, but could Melissa? If we are to believe that she is actually calling each phone in sequence then it may make sense that she can only handle 1 phone call at a time.

Ok, I'll play your sordid little game, P_v...
(no it doesn't make any sense, so stop trying to make it do so... Very Happy)

I understand what you're saying, but I tend to think that if Melissa is capable of making one phone call, plotting GPS coordinates to pay telephones throughout the country, use her skill to manipulate webcams, change text and HTML, all along with updating audio clips online immediately following two hot axons per group, then yes... I feel she is then capable of making two telephone calls at the same time.

My reasoning is this: I can make two telephone calls at the same time, and I can't do half the crap she can do, so by that reasoning, she can do what I can do, and therefore she can do that voodoo that you do so well- ahem... she can make multiple calls simultaneously... at least two of them. Razz

MP3 is so lossy I would think it would be near imposible to retain any data after compression to MP3 and then transcoding(?) to wave. In fact IIRC wave is not in an of itself a CODEC and is instead a container format that accespts a number of 'plug-in' CODECs. Hence, .WAV files that use the MP3 codec.

That was my concern. I know MP3s are lossy, but I wasn't sure how much. WAV is pretty much just raw audio data, so yeah, they're .wavs that are compressed with the LAME codec (similar to how bmp is just uncompressed image data with headers, while jpg/png/gif/etc are compressions performed on that raw data). Like I said, a long shot, but worth a look. Wink

AND.. on top of this, an AI is a constuct that exists on a computer, therefore, like a computer, it can run several tasks simultaneously, assuming the computer/AI has access to sufficient resources (memory being a key one here). Melissa talking simultaneously over two or more phone lines is not all that far of a stretch seeing as it would be no more complicated than, say, running a file-sharing program while using an instant messaging program on your desktop (as both programs simultaneously run send and receive protocols).

Hrm. I don't suppose any of you guys have gone back to check Axons that have already Connected and Gone Hot? I don't think they're calling back to numbers that have already succeeded, but it's definitely worth checking. I'd hate to think that we might possibly be missing more opportunities to increment the Total count at the top of the links.html page. You know, the total count that we have almost no clue what it really means? Razz

And while I'm there, wonder if 777 was the total number of listed crew on Melissa's ship? Just a thought.

That's why it doesn't always work...... I mean..... How could you use a file sharing program?!

777 is the luckiest number since 666..... no wonder they crashed, they shouldn't have taken that dog dressed as an officer.
