By the way, I haven't found it anywhere so I'll just ask: is there any significance to the website http://thenittifamily.byethost15.com/ Why bye thost? And could the number 15 mean anything?

Byethost.com is a free web hosting service. Not sure what the 15 means though.

No luck here either. My eyes hurt Shocked

Maybe 15 is the number that goes where the question mark is??

The 15 is insignificant - it's just one of the many domain names that Byet owns (for example, they also have byethost14.com)

I'm risking sounding stupid here, but so far I haven't run across it in this game. So here we go...think there's any meaning behind the Chenchey's homepage saying...

www.thechencheyinstituteofresearch.com/#

I just wanted to solve this riddle for you so that you didn't spend too much time going down this road.

In the HTML language (used to build websites), the "#" is used when you have a link on the page that you don't want to actually send the browser to another page (instead, you want it to do something on the current page). The only link at their site that does this is the "Home" link when you're already on the Home page. Obviously in this case, clicking Home shouldn't really do anything, because you're already there. On other pages, the "Home" link sends you back to "index.html", which is the same as if you just go to www.chencheyinstituteofresearch.com.

So there's definitely no clue here.

I've been trying several things with the roman numbers but nothing seems to work... Mad looks like we're stuck again! Hopefully Eliott will post something interesting soon!

WHOAH, BREAKTHROUGH.

If this whole "Roman Numeral" concept is right...maybe my instinct of looking at Romans 1:II was correct!

"which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures"

Hmmm...

Dude, seriously...(Hurley rox Wink )...I guess either we're to few people to solve those puzzles or Mr PM is too smart for us...But it's easier to encode than to decode, right?...Does anyone have an idea how to continue? Perhaps ask R33pi for new/more clues? If I'm right his Email was given somewhere?!

I've messaged Elliott on Twitter in case he's found anything new but I'll try R33pi's email again...

I'm not usually a quitter but man alive this one is just too much. We're clever people!!? (I think...!) I'm amazed SOMEONE hasn't managed to figure it out! It's either REALLY hard or far simpler than we think and we're just missing something really obvious!

Try to convince him, that his concerns about Chenchey members decoding this one are unfounded...if we can't solve it, no one can Wink

Fortunately my employer doesn't block my internet access but I threw so many "extensions" at thenittifamily while my laptop was recharging that I got an urgent call from our IT dept. asking if I needed help. Laughing
