It's "DNArgus_Comms" and she just twittered twice leading to her personal blog.

She gives a pretty easy hint as far as the first protected post.
But, for those who don't remember

is what you're looking for.
You know, this is getting pretty frustrating, so I'm happy to be tossed an easy one for a change. >.<

Barbara seems to be into stability. Will there be two camps: those that picked innovation and those that picked stability?

During the initial 'trial phase' there were a series of emails sent out. The audio listed there, as well as passwords, were in the auto reply email for 'Yes'.
Quote:
Excellent. You have chosen well. This is your first challenge.
Go to this directory: http://www.dnargus.com/bep/audio_challenge.mid
Use this username and password: username: bep; password: 5%3#2198.
Decode the message in the audio recording. Now, it is very important that you follow the following instructions. We get a lot of people attempting to join us, so we have set up some automated systems to make our lives MUCH easier. If you fail to follow these instructions, your e-mail will likely be disregarded.
Here are the instructions:
1. Send an e-mail to befollowerSPLATgmail.com with the FIRST TWO WORDS of the decoded message as the subject line.
2. The BODY of the message should have the rest of the decoded message.
If your answer is correct, you will receive another message with instructions on how to complete the next challenge.
Good luck.
That's where I got the password for the protected entry.

No prob! The first two or three pages have all that info from the emails listed as people got them. I never posted mine because others are far more quick on the draw that way. Which I wubble them for.

I asked tiffany "is mary the username: she replied yes
is pythias the password? no
is 620125 the password? no
is pythia the password? no it is Pythia
but mary/Pythia does not work for Oracle. Could it be 3 different usernames?
how many usernames are there? One of each.
I think tiffany is saying yes so one user name is mary (but not for the oracle) and the oracle's password is Pythia
Asking Tiff the username and password, will likely be low-yield and contaminate her pool of phrases.
May I remind us all from the blog:
Quote:
Some of my colleagues used these early AIs for decryption purposes. Scientists would give them with a cryptic statement, provide the solution (normally in a coded or cloaked form) and program the AI with hints. So, what did my colleagues do? They would ask the AI to provide them with information — normally usernames and passwords — to no effect. Often the AI would either repeat questions it was asked previously or lead them down the wrong path. They relied too much on the machine.
Even though our AIs are much more reliable these days, I still remember those lessons I learned so long ago. My younger colleagues, who have grown up with machines, are much too trusting. I always tell them to remember three things:
1. Think for yourself.
2. Never trust an AI.
3. Garbage in, garbage out
AIs: Sometimes they're reliable, sometimes they just . . . not.

Look ing through the directory index of /prop_1/_notes I found these files
eldprop.html.mno 03-Jun-2009 00:10 1k
learn_grow.html.mno 03-Jun-2009 00:20 1k
shadow_war.html.mno 03-Jun-2009 00:07 1k
what_came_before.htm..> 03-Jun-2009 00:08 1k
eldprop.html.mno is this text file
<xml>
- <info>
<infoitem> infoitem key="ccLastSubmitter" value="FJohnmar"
<infoitem> infoitem key="ccLastSubmitterEmail" value="info@envisionsolutionsnow.com"
<infoitem> infoitem key="ccLastPublishDate" value="1244002208"
</info>
www.envisionsolutionsnow.com has as the top story in News & Information and interview with Samantha Fox - the same Samantha Fox that is one of Barbara's twittering buddies.
The other files make the same reference
Could FJohnmar be the username we need for media, music and oracle?

Morning. No Super solve below. Just some Meta info:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A Whois search for envisionsolutionsnow.com reveals it was "Created: 2005-11-27". My ladybug instincts say they're running or commissioned the ARG and to be cagey when referencing "Index of /prop_1". Just imo

Viewing the source code of the three pages mentioned in Saint Cad's post gives us the following:
shadow_war.html
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Oh, how the *media* tells the tale of the *44*! He strives to help a *bankrupt* industry and a worried country with a *stimulus* package that increases the debt of a great country. This is the sad *news* of the day!
eldprop.html
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Oh *Pythia*! How this oracle, this seer of *Delphi* was tainted by nature! She was the *priestess* who was truly cursed with the sight of the Gods!
what_came_before.html
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
focus on the *classical* musical musings of the *composers* who in greatness strove to create the wonderful opuses *620* and *125*. They should be hailed as among the first rank of humankind.

I think that the latest discovery confirms what we were led to believe from Barbara's transcripts with Tiff. I suspect the passwords are
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
44bankruptstimulus
620125
Pythia
The big question is what is the username? I've tried
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
mary
dan
robert
Tiffany
barbara
FJohnmar
bep
159PD
Cverse
any other ideas?

If the username is formatted the same as what you found it could be:
MCollins
DCollins
RDynamo
BChung
DOxxxx
PJxxxx
or someone we've yet to discover.

I thought of that but Tiffany said the username is one word. I don't think it is a name but a term we should know like EXTEND or DREAM or comms (btw, it tried the last one - no go) That is why i started going with 159PD and Cverse
