COTW retweeted the same pic so it looks like a happy ending all around......

including the bottom headline reading Donovan Andrews and Nadia Rose Marry Laughing

Nice game, everyone. Enjoyed playing with all of you.

And of course, thanks to you, PM!

I am kind of curious as to what was up with those other projects, though. Or if it was just flavor.

My only two complaints were that I missed the end and that the game was too short. Smile

Thanks everyone for introducing me to ARG with this one ( and didn't let me feel completely stupid).

I agree with icerimp. I'm just curious about the rest and what will happen to CotW and and and.... Wink

Yes, thanks to the PM and all the posters too...

Won't soon forget this ARG not only because it was rewarding fun but also because I'll be getting Automatic Failure to Deliver emails for days to come from all my guesses. Twisted Evil

Thank you to everyone who played. As some of you might have guessed, I was the PM. Since you guys have some questions, what time would be best for a PM chat? Any time before 1:00 PM Central and after 6:30 PM Central doesn't work for me, though.

Awesome job on the game! Anytime is good for me, except tomorrow between 8 AM and 3 PM EST.

Had a great time. Great bunch of players, team work was really a plus, and PM: good job on spreading stuff out, but without great lapses, never new when things would break, just had to keep checking back. A satisfactory ending ending with closure and everything!

But can someone, sometime, somewhere, explain what

was?

That works for me. Should everyone else be OK with that and a decision made, a "linky" to chat would be cool so that we don't have to search through the old posts! THANKS SO MUCH EYE!!! Very Happy

These were the questions and answers from our chat with E.Y.E. Spy:

Quote:
<Icerimp> what was with the list of other projects hidden on the Asgard site? just flavor?
<EYE> Just flavor.
<EYE> Also
<EYE> To make the connection
<EYE> Between Asgard and Wolfbane
<Bruce> Could be some sequels....
<DbD> Will we be hearing from Dr. Loni again?
<RAD24> Ywah, leaves room for more games
<RAD24> Yeah*
<EYE> Yep. Wink

<Bruce> What was with the maddening Asgard logo?
<EYE> Be on the lookout for more from Loni and the gang.
<RAD24> Sweet!
<EYE> What do you mean by maddening?
<Icerimp> great, looking forward
<Bruce> Disappear on mouseover - lol
<EYE> To make it a bit harder.
<EYE> And
<EYE> You'd need to know the underlying URL for the secret.php later
<EYE> Because asgardig.tk/secret.php
<EYE> I mean secure.php
<EYE> Doesn't work

<amandel> The p/w clue "What was the machine's first word"?...well what?
<DbD> The "Babbage" clue was KICKING our butts! What were we missing???
<EYE> Well
<EYE> You were supposed
<EYE> To
<EYE> See "Difference"
<EYE> and "mistakes"
<EYE> meant typos
<EYE> Difference Engine
<EYE> Difference is the first word
<EYE> 68 is the difference between the number of typos
<Bruce> I got difference, but didn't put them together
<EYE> in the last and first

<DbD> OH! What about the DM I received on Twitter??? What was that???
<EYE> What DM?
<amandel> you mean those numbers?
<DbD> Yeah!
<EYE> The ones that wouldn't translate?
<EYE> That was an error on my part
<Bruce> Yeah
<DbD> Exactly!
<EYE> Somehow
<DbD> Ah!
<EYE> Between copying them from the translator
<EYE> and
<EYE> pasting them into twitter
<EYE> Somehow
<EYE> They got messed up

<Icerimp> did you expect us to move so fast with some of the early stuff? i remember some of the websites were still being validated
<DbD> NP!
<amandel> You should have blamed it on Grayson...we thought he was a bit thick anyway Smile
<EYE> Lol
<Icerimp> federal employees, you know
<EYE> The validation thing...
<EYE> That messed something up.
<EYE> You were orginally supposed to thing Asgard
<EYE> Was OOG
<DbD> Oh, the Apache82???
<EYE> But then...
<EYE> The validation thing
<EYE> Messed it up
<EYE> On further investigation, you were supposed to find the project list hidden in the source.
<EYE> But the validation ruined it

<amandel> ...and the significance of "erbium" exactly?
<EYE> It was just as entertaining to be the PM
<Icerimp> indeed
<EYE> 68 is the atomic number of Erbium
<EYE> No other significance
<RAD24> oh
<amandel> Yaha but it's use in the Project, plse?
<EYE> This will not be my last ARG
<EYE> None, amandel

<Bruce> liked the typing effect
<amandel> me too bigtime
<EYE> I used a typing sound effect I downloaded for that
<EYE> With some modifications
<EYE> And timing it
<EYE> It took a lot of work to time it
<DbD> I noticed at one point the Youtube page was using the same image as COTW? Did that get changed?
<EYE> Nope
<DbD> lol
<EYE> To make the videos
<EYE> I typed the stuff
<EYE> on Wordpad with a font I downloaded
<EYE> and recorded it
<EYE> with Camstudio
<EYE> Then some Movie Maker magic
<EYE> And poof, a logfile

<EYE> A lot of the things were made as the arg progressed. They were already planned out, but I did most of the programming as I went on.
<EYE> I was rushing to finish the release mechanism in time for the endgame

<Icerimp> if Asgard wasn't shut down by the feds, would Amandel been able to look forward to a lucrative career?
<Bruce> rofl
<RAD24> lol
<DbD> lol
<amandel> With a lab of minions to call my very own!!!
<RAD24> lol
<EYE> sorry, looked away for a sec, back
<Bruce> mwahahaha
<Icerimp> you could have been in charge of were-animal production
<EYE> Sure, amandel, they'd gladly welcome you into the Evil Plots & World Domination Dept.
<RAD24> Haha
<amandel> *giggles and plots with underground asgard baddies
<EYE> Then, once they ruled the world, you'd be promoted to VP of Ruling With An Iron Fist.

<amandel> what the purpose of the big image? it was huge and a beaut
<EYE> What big image?
<Icerimp> the green eyes caught me
<Bruce> blue image of the wolf
<EYE> That was just flavor.
<amandel> the wolf behind the cage wire
<EYE> It was big... because
<EYE> Well, download it
<EYE> and open it up
<EYE> It's really bigger
<EYE> In size
<EYE> Than what shows online
<Bruce> We kept expecting a stegged message
<EYE> Nope
<EYE> Just a photo of the poor wolf

<amandel> ALL the story twists...were they all preplanned?
<EYE> Yes

<EYE> Would you like Grayson and the rest to make a comeback?
<RAD24> Definitely!
<Icerimp> if you want to work it in, definitely
<DbD> I'd like to know what Loni is going to do?!
<EYE> Loni is working on separating himself from the wolf.
<EYE> Setting him free.
