[PIE][SUMMARY] Story to Date

Our Story to Date
Baron and Hector co-authored the JUMP theory, which provides evidence that many scientific breakthroughs were preceded by mysterious visitations.

Recruiting a network to help track this phenomenon the pair quickly became targeted by the Cartel, an organization that seeks to prevent the next JUMP. Aided by the mysterious Gerrymander, Baron and Hector have tried to stay one step ahead of their pursuers.

Now, after months of being stalked, threatened and kidnapped Baron has abruptly quit the organization. Hector obtains evidence that his former partner may not be who he seems.

Time is running out for our investigators�will they witness the JUMP or be left behind?

JavaOne Interviews and Confrontations
The PIE Guys are welcomed to JavaOne by Chris Melissinos and then encounter the WISH. Baron and WISH are perturbed by the strange clicking sounds from the woods.

Day 2 at JavaOne
Hector meets "Frank LaParodie" and plays a trick on the chap. Frank does not remember wearing blue coveralls, a green van or Baron's abduction.
Baron quits PIE.

Packing Up PIE HQ
Hector goes to PIE Headquarters to pick up his stuff and finds an invoice for a PO Box he does not remember renting.

Going Postal
Hector picks up a package from the mystery PO Box. It contains photos of Baron gallivanting with Lint Julep. The photos have datestamps that correspond to the period of Baron's kidnapping.

Hector Confronts Baron
After seeking counsel Hector decides to ask Baron some questions. Baron reveals that he loves Lint Julep.

Hector confronts Gerry
Hector breaks his word and takes recording equipment to the meeting. He is not surprised by the identity of Gerrymander.

The Byberry Connection
At last the fabled Byberry footage is released with the illicit audio from the Gerrymander meeting. There has been a mixed reaction to the reveal of Gerrymander's identity as well as some unexpected hostility, so I'll spoiler it.

Lint Julep is Gerrymander

Throughout all of this Baron keeps dreaming about 3:14 and seems obsessed with Byberry, JUMP theory and the PIE Network. His attempts to leave it all behind him have so far been in vain.
