haha Thanks amandel! I'm also looking at meanings of "quick." The only one I could find that seems to relate is quick vein, a mine that is productive. That could work if the first image means for us to see veins and the third is something that's mined. Or it could be quick as "alive."

Rose Quartz is a stone of the 4th Chakra, the heart. It's also known as Anahata.

Neither Chakra or Anahata works as a password, but there's a power in something like that. Maybe he was referring to it when he was mentioning power in names?

I do like the track you're on, icerimp, because I read earlier that rose quartz brings clarity to the heart, which ties back to the aorta image.

ETA: Maybe it's related to the Rosetta Stone?

Ooh, nice hi-res rose picture!

Not the solution, but a funny connection: Natural Rose Quartz Beads With Tube Rabbit Laughing

By the way, do you still use #rabbitblack? I am currently in that room.

The morse from the midi must be important somehow. Why go to the trouble of encoding seemingly little helpful information like "The Book of Prophecy will help you." ?

Since I feel like I'm not making progress, I thought I'd post Lesson 3 as a reminder to myself and all:

Quote:
In this lesson I dispense with history for now. I dispense with centuries of learning and centuries of teaching. I will dispense with these because of the urgency of our cause. The scattering will happen soon.

Instead, I will teach you the principle. The NAME of things have power. Like a key for a lock. Like a catalyst for a reaction. Like the Per'tnel for magic.

I think the red writing is important. I spent the last several hours looking at fonts....I havent found any that match. it almost has an arabic flow...but it doesnt match any of the arabic fonts. I even looked at languages like klingon and tanktanese. It doesnt match any of the magical languages either. or cypher languages. It looks familiar though.
EDIT
Did anyone else notice all the other pages say 10 days till the scattering....but the examination page says 9 days

The picture of the aorta on the examination page is also used on wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Gray506.svg

The black lines are there to show the different parts of the aorta so I don't think that they're significant. But I could be wrong Smile

@Special_K_26: that's why I already linked to that same image on the previous page and....

wondering, like church if the title, "tubes.jpg" has more to do with the aorta being the body's largest passageway......
hard to shake the heart connex though. Dunno

Along the same line I was also thinking about the aorta image as "vessel," (carrier/holder) which also might work as part of a book title.

Ok solved it (partly)

The files are camouflaged with password

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

name

leading to three poems:

tubes1.png
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

filename="ina.rtf"

How do the vessels of blood
Carry a torrent-like flood,
When one whose name is unknown
Boasts a big name of its own?

quick2.jpg
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

filname ="win.rtf"

Philosophy was not his strength,
But at least he rhymed at length,
His name is not really the key,
But at least it will set you free.

stone3.jpg
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

filename="eld.rtf"

He fashioned it while he was sick
Others thought it was a clever trick
Then by its healing they were felled
As his stone's power they beheld.

Cluey AUZ! File #2 "filname ="win.rtf" " refers to Shakespeare's passage fron Romes and Juliet, namely "What's in a name?

That which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet"

Amandel, you should join us in the chat (#rabbitblack)

ETA: win.rtf: "win" sounds like the first letters of "What's in a name".

That pw isn't working for me? (I have Camouflage 1.2.1, the "final version")

For text file #2 "He rhymed at length"? Try "Shakespeare"
