does anyone know what Mission 4 is about?

... Combo 33. The Secret of Budapest and Fort Knox's secret.

bUT THE THING IS , what does the line:'Alistair was there the night they died' got to do with Fort Knox. This line means that Alistair was present the night Hope and Arythur died (I think). I don't find it relating to Mission 4.

Plus, the missing letters have got nothing to do with thesecret code. I think they stopped putting Secret messages like Gideon and Ireland, since Book 3. The missing letters in Book 3 and 4 simply denote that those letters are not present in the coded message.

But what if you put the missing letters from both books together?

No, i think that secret messages ended with Book 2, because we found out the significance of Gideon and Ireland in Book 3, so there wasn't anything else to reveal.

so the ace thing was just lucky?

the ace thing is not just lucky!! I believe it refers to mission 3. the ace of spies was able to break the code i think. because it talks about him getting involved with ekats and stuff. or, it could just be part of a ten word sentence. given that BtG isn't missing any letters i believe we find the word by looking on the different objects for hieroglyphs. I haven't cracked yet but i will!

I'm telling you that the word 'ace' was a co-incidence. Since we already found out the menings of the cryptic words "Ireland' and 'Gideon', there is absolutely no reason for Scholastic to put new wrds. WE FOUND THE SECRET OF THE 39 CLUES IN BOOK 3. And 'ace' does not refer to Mission 3 since the Ace of Spies has no relation with Hope Diamond. Scholastic would have revieled otherwise. He doesn't even feature in the Combo. Plus, since the only missing vowels in Book 4 are 'O' 'u', we can't possibly make even a whole word!

meh. still here. Gonna leave at friday. Gonna get there sunday(time change). Anyway, soccerbeast, chill. Ace didn't have anything to do with mission three, although he came close to finding an Ekaterina secret(which wasn't exactly specified).

Fine, I will lay low for now but when I find the next book word I will be back.

P.S. It has to do with a map. Card pack 2, book 4, book 5, and possibly 6 are all put together to make a full map. Or maybe a word...

I think it was Ekatprof who found the back of the card online without the pen scratchings. If you search it, I believe you will find it. Good job though!

P.S. No need to post everything twice, we will read it.

Interesting tidbit: There's a symbol on the book the blond headed girl is running off with in the picture piece on the back of card #78.

It's the symbol for Phosphorus, which is a clue we'd already been given.

It makes me wonder why that clue in particular gets that much attention that she's fleeing something that scares her but can't leave behind a book on Phosphorus. It's interesting to me.

I wonder what little tidbits we'll ferret out of the next few pieces as more books come out.

I'm also curious as to why there's no symbol hidden away on card #6's piece of the picture. It's the only one that doesn't have anything...or at least nothing we've identified yet.

But we've got 39 in roman numerals, the alchemical symbol for the philosopher's stone, and the alchemical symbol for phosphorus. What's next is a fun thought. Smile

Do you mean the grave that's right next to the person in the black cloak? It does look like a "C" and even more fun is that type of cross is known as an Irish Cross.
