I have been scouring craigslist for Hatch and his map. I haven't had any luck yet. I have tried almost all variations of his name. I looked for someone selling maps, Chinese money, Chinese symbols, anything to do with Brightman, Oracles, Watchers, sensual massage, keys, Keystone. I looked up the serial number on the money, I looked for DR starr, W.T. Hatch, Sgt Ernie I even tried "Hey Courtney Look here" and so far nothing

Just spoke with my brother while sitting in the Columbus, OH airport. He said he's only had a chance to glance at the image so far - but will really look into it now. He said the center symbol appears to actually be 2 characters, the first one meaning "small". However depending on what the 2nd character is, it could change the meaning of the entire thing.
He'll get back to me as soon as he can. I might not be able to post anything till I get to my layover depending on how long it takes him.
I'm fairly willing to bet, that Hatch's Craigslist listing is whatever the Chinese characters spell out....

Far too many people drop in a line, get impatient and pull the hook from the water just as the bass is creeping out from under the rock.

I... don't get it. D:

edit;; lol okay I get it now

I saw your ad on craigslist but it was pulled and the e-mail address in the cache no longer works. Had to have somebody hack it.

Why are you looking for me?

I'm gonna keep details to the minimum, here, because I don't know how safe this is but: you know your way around the Brightman Institute, do you not?

In short: we really need your help.

Yes, you do need my help. Please pay close attention because this is the last time that you will get direct information from me so you are going to need to up your game a bit from this point forward. There are very few of us left to help and the danger is very real, I've seen the surveillance data and you are all being watched to some degree or another and I know that your groups' observational skills aren't the best. We've been in your store (Trina wore glasses like yours and said that you kept looking at her), we stood behind one of you at the WalMart in Tilton, and followed another on Main Street out of Gun Barrel City. Hell, we were able to walk right up and put a package into a mailbox in Utah. But our proximity to your little group has always been for protection, unlike the people who are watching you now. They are just waiting for the call that you are getting too close to interfering. I will be providing what you need, but it won't be obvious and we can't risk pointing things out anymore. Three pieces of advice going forward; never jump to conclusions, get familiar with everything you have seen or you won't recognize when I am communicating with you, and no matter what you do, protect the writer. He is the only one who can truly finish this.

Begin.

It's always entertaining to see Gun Barrel City mentioned somewhere, considering it's not really a big town and it's rarely mentioned outside of the lake area. Last time I saw it in print outside of the local newspapers was Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned.

Pretty sure being assigned the task of following me would be boring as hell, though. My routine is pretty much the same, 24/7.

Well, I just heard back from my brother about the Chinese characters, and it's not good.

He said that there appear to be several characters within one, painted on top of each other basically. So being the clever guy he is - he forwarded it to a bunch of his friends to take a look at. One, a young lady born and raised in Hong Kong, and just recently came to the US. She doesn't have a clue. She said the characters are all muddled. She said she felt a bit embarrassed she wasn't able to pick anything out of it.

He said he's going to keep looking into it - and see if he can't decipher it brush stroke by stroke - but he's got to find his book on it first. Until then - if anyone else knows of a way to decipher this - it'd be a good idea to jump on it.

Port's blog, the Hazeltine Report, the Brightman Oracle blog, and the Oracle Project blog were all updated today, each with one word.

Haven't seen updates on any other related sites and the postcard that was on oraclewatch is gone.

Ahahah, oh man.

So the images, to me, refer to either specific times or places:
1) 1994/1996; now; 1997; 2001-ish ... orrrrr
2) Ball Harbor, New Jersey; the forums here (or maybe where I'm at?); Bodega Bay, California; Norman, Oklahoma

I would tenatively say the images also refers to an order within the manuscript pieces we've gotten, except the link to my cover throws that off a little. Unless he means the entire thing, respectively (or maybe just the first portion? cause that part is the only one with the title in it).

Or I'm totally missing the meaning completely, which is probably the most likely option.

edit;;
About five minutes after I posted, guess who I got a PM from?

You are the second.

So um, either that was in reference to the location line-up I just did, unless it's about people, which would be:
Port (or Annalisa); er, me?; the Oracle (perhaps Bernie); Bricker

Either way, I still have no idea what it means. D; If you look at the aformentioned locations on a map, it basically scales from coast-to-coast, then backtracks halfway across the country to Oklahoma.

clas1ca: Glad you did, man. Good to know you're ok. I'm working on finding you a way to get around Brightman. Many leads; no answers (yet). Alas.

clas1ca: Found something earlier that belongs to you, though. Didn't think it fair that someone else has it and you don't: http://bit.ly/TXrug

Since I don't think we've seen that image of Bean yet, figured I would forward it to Port and see what he says while we're in conversation, anyway!

Also, the more I think about this, the more I wonder if the images refer to like, page numbers of this thread or something. Like where we first discovered them. The only exception would be the Bean image, unless we have seen it and I'm totally forgetting.
I'm flipping through right now, though, so let's see what I find...
