Yes you're right, we click on the thing that says we are authorized personell before it gives us the gps coords and all that. then, we answer right, so we are the crew as far as she knows.

How to communicate to her, that is definitely a good question.

I've got an idea. The payphones are roads..Supposedly from ilb to the payphones is each a road to help transmit the messages..

Well, roads are usually 2ways.

The message are being delivered to us through the payphones, is there not a way to transmit back to the operator using the payphones?

Almost like, if we could *69 (call lookup) on the # that calls the phones..then, dial that # and .. give it an instruction. Hmm

im back all, and i just read the last post.

i was thinking of using social engineering, after getting a call, dial the operator and request the number that just called, saying they are harassing you or something. Get the number and call back. Keep in mind, they might have *69 disabled

Just a couple of speculations:
What if Jan's father isn't the super secret operative so much as he is the operative turned compassionate? Jan jumped off the third story of a building over a security fence, then got up and flirted with a guard. All we know about her physically is that she's attractive, maybe she's very tall, almost SPARTAN-like. If memory serves, Halsey was going to start up another SPARTAN program, so maybe Jan's "dad" was supposed to kidnap her from Halsey's latest program to be used as a special operative (perhaps by the group funding the program competing with Halsey's in the books), hence her name meaning slave warrior, but he decided he couldn't do that to her once she was in his possession, so he changed both of their identities. If she's SPARTAN, even a cursory examination of genetic material by scientists should raise red flags everywhere.
And maybe we have to activate all the current axons before more will be released. Maybe there'll be 777 in total?
EDIT: they do have *69 disabled, tried it on second axon in hey_soldier

im still thinkin a short CGI movie, prequel to the halo series, maybe marathon?

The name Janisary has to have significance since the cop "raised his eyebrow at it".

I do not disagree, but...
Validation of the suppresed has been posted elseware, but do yuo have any proof of the infertile?

What is infertility in a science fiction universe? Everything I've read about the MC (and other spartans) says that you'd know by looking that they were different, but I'm guessing that they aren't so different to have every bit of DNA removed from their body!

Could J^2 be a clone of one of the spartans in some sort of attempt to "give them back the life that was stolen from them" out of guilt or something? Or maybe there are some rogue spartans from somewhere along the line who had someone do it for them? Or maybe a proto-type or parallel project? He very obviously doesn't want anyone to have a DNA sample from his daughter.

Idea Or maybe a bunch of used book and software stores wanted to unload copies of Marathon and the Halo novels and thought, "we could set up a website and...." Twisted Evil

I don't know if she's a spartan, but there's definitely something there..with the father's background being so unknown, and him not wanting her dna tested..And her not getting hurt from jumping that far away. And, her seeming super human like..She was really fast, and hid on the cealing (sp?). Spartan? doesn't seem so wrong...

we know that melissa takes her orders from the flea.... so why would she want orders from us.... she just wants us to repair the damage, hence:

Assertions:
I am called the Operator.
I have crash landed.
I must determine the cause of the accident that brought me to this time.
I have undergone severe memory loss.
I must locate any surviving members of my crew.
I have built a primitive network using the tools available.
I must seek the truth.
I hear a jumble of voices in my head.

Conjecture:
The voices are in some way related to my accident.
Because of the damage, I am unable to accurately assess the nature of the voices.
By broadcasting the voices to my crew, they will be able to assess the damage.
Once assessed, the damage can be repaired.

You missed the point. It was stated as a FACT that Spartans are infertile and as such incapable of producing offspring. I asked for a basis for that assertion. If it can be proven that that is in fact a fact, then it would go a long way to disproving the 'Jan is the offspring of a Spartan' hypothesis.

I personally do not believe that she is, but I have not read the books (and have no desire to) and as such can not prove or disprove the statement, myself.

We actually tried punching in *69, just for fun, after the 17:15 axon in Burbank, California went hot yesterday. Of course it didn't work -- it probably never works from a pay phone -- but it was worth a try. Dunno

I do not remember seeing this anywhere but might this not mean that we are ment to reasemble the files (as we have done) and give them back in order? This would presumably give Melissa enough data to unscrable the next set of files.

We have a conduit to SP via e-mail. Do we have a way to 'give back' the reassembled files (or at least thier order) to Melissa?
