Hmm.

Quote:
clas1ca: Hope so! Don't expect this to be easy, though. Anyway, Starr needs to get back in one piece first. Heard from him at all yet?

klokworkalex: Nothing so far. I've never eaten so much seafood and saltwater taffy in my life. Much better than the Jersey shore. You'd like it here.

So no word from Bernie, eh? Maybe I should drop him a line and make sure he isn't dead yet or something. ;\

Sorry guys! haven't been at my PC. I got this.

EDIT: Alsoooo, with syn's latest email to TT, the "forwarded" part with the email changed to the rot-13 has several differences between the email syn originally sent (unless the one syn first posted that he sent is not an exact copy of the one he actually sent, since i know he did so on his iphone)

if you compare the two, the letter "m" in me has been changed to an "n", the "n" in than has been changed to a "t", and the letter "p" has been added to puzzle.

ntp?

So here it is all put together! I think.
I can't read a lot of the words, but there's 'central park west', 'main st', and 'ghost alley' for sure. And then something about 'junk storage' at the bottom.

the bottom, above junk storage, i believe says "old shower room". if you look at the wall beneath those words, those look like shower heads lining it. judging by the lack of walls or stalls, if they are shower heads, they're definitely prison shower heads. I.E. Brightman

"Ghost Alley" is the name given to the passageways of a holding area in Fort Monroe

Quote:
The unexplained rattling of chains is also attributed to his ghost. Within the fortress is and area known as "Ghost Alley". Three spirits are known to call this area home. One of them is the often-sighted Woman in White, still roaming the building long after her demise. It is said that the young woman was murdered by a Captain she had married, and that her spirit is doomed to restlessness. Another spirit haunts one of the Officer's Quarters in "Ghost Alley". The spirit of a child has also been seen playing in the area. Childish giggles are heard, and other children playing in the family quarters of "Ghost Alley" report having a friend that they play with, yet

So before I respond to Rage about the email he sent me the other day, is there anything in particular anyone would like to see added, or questions asked?

Is it too late for me to add, that I didn't get part of a picture in email? Wink
First Port forgets about me, and now the PM's.. *sniff* I'm starting to feel so abandoned. Laughing

Got woken up by this today:

Quote:
klokworkalex: Just heard from him. Said he made progress this morning and would probably be in DC just through the weekend.

Mmm, beaurcratic red tape. My favorite! At least some progress has been made, but man. It's taking forever.

Can't get much by me, I'm afraid. That's not an invitation to try, either.

In this context, Meta would be the ever changing storyline and the plethora of white noise out there. In my opinion the real story comes through the interaction; so far I have been right. No one listens, though.

I came back for this interaction.

2) what exactly does "meta" mean in this context, and why did you come back?

1) why has my email address been changed to some sort of string that resembles rot-13
2) there's a reason why I came back, and it's certainly not the meta. sometimes I wonder if the PM just needs a sounding board

LOL - that'll teach me to post some random, "I'm being ignored" comment. Embarassed I do love the sense of humor the PM's have.
And as someone who shall remain nameless - has said on several different occasions:

<snip>I can't wait to meet Brian Bricker so I can kick him in the shins for all of this<snip>

I just received a Hallmark E-Card from 47fluwSPLATyahoo.com lol.

to view the card - it's pretty funny.

I know someone asked the other day if the PM's watched the forums here, and this should remove all doubt.

Shocked Laughing
