Yeah I saw that, on the barrel to the right. What I didn't even notice the first time around was that the swings were moving Laughing I was too busy looking for the bald guy.

Nothing to add (yet!!!) but I thought I'd say hi and that I'll be joining you all in unraveling this unnerving mystery. Just played catch-up.

I guess I do have one thing to add - it seems to me that the introduction video with the text descriptions and the car ride video could be giving us a potential location. I seem to recall hearing about a program or website that could try to figure out a location based on an image so I will look for that. Hopefully it is not just vaporware. If all else fails I'll go through google images and see if I can find anything that looks like it matches, lol.

Ok, I re-watched the intro a few times. I was not able to find (yet at least) the program I remember reading of to find the location based on an image. I did however see a sign very, very briefly. Like half a second and partially off screen brief. I doubt it is intentional. Based on that I have been searching via satellite and street view on Google Maps but after also sending a message via YouTube to the MarbleHornets profile and getting a reply I do not think this would help us.
I sent a message asking for the location of the filming, suggesting that my friends and I would like to help, and that if we knew the location we could search for similar reports of strange people hanging around in 2006, or escaped felons (grasping at straws, lol). Here's the reply I got:

If people want I can post the sign I found, but due to what he said (I guess I am assuming it's a he, I guess we don't know gender...but now we know an initial!) and how brief and accidental it is, I don't think it would be helpful. My searching hasn't turned up a definite answer as to location yet anyways.

Would the points of tearing in the other videos mean anything? It happened in this video, too, at 0:28 to 0:30.

It seems like the broken video happens shortly before there are encounters with the slenderman of some sort. I did not spot him in #5 though. Maybe if we take a closer look, we can see something in the woods.

 		I want to point out another possibility here: So far, we've got six videos, but no puzzles. We're looking for clues, but there don't appear to be many. From what I've seen with ARGs (and yes, I'm fairly recent as a poster, but I've lurked for a while), there's usually a puzzle or some other indicator that this is an ARG fairly quickly. Do we still think this one is?

I've seen ARGs similar to this one, with no puzzles this early. All I can really say right now is Every ARG is different. Although I hope this is an ARG, it'd be interesting.

 		I'm pretty sure there's another message in all the distorted audio. But how do we go about un-distorting it...hm...

Edit: Or perhaps there's clues at the exact moments of visual tearing?
