You don't have to watch every YouTube video, of that I am certain. To get the email saying that you have solved the puzzle and are entered, make sure you visit http://hatchetlives.com, to see where the missing reels are hidden. You can figure out the answer to the contest question from there. Wink


The email you get from your entry is rather interesting - the EVP of Marketing, David Shay, answers you personally, letting you know that your entry was received, gives a little update and background, and asks:

I would love to hear how you became aware of the contest and even a few thoughts about the game itself. Does it make you any more interested in seeing the movie when it is released/distributed? Etc…


While this a fun little puzzle trail and not a standard ARG, I liked the personal touch at the end.

Downside: Some of the YouTube videos make me mourn the current state of our education system (even if it is a film and they are actors) and Definitely turn down the sound before you visit the final site! It scared me, the cat and freaked out the person I had on the phone asking about a press release. Laughing

 		OK, found out what the problem was: for whatever reason, the site either wasn't recognizing my Flash player in Internet Explorer, or the cookies weren't saving properly. Firefox worked for me.

 		Can anyone confirm if this is working with Safari? I have not been able to enter using safari or IE. Guess I'll have to use a different computer.

Got the letters, followed the links, I put in the info and everything, and it just goes back to the http://www.bloodnightmovie.com/contest/index.htm page where I first clicked the more info link. I haven't gotten an email. I didn't get the "You haven't seen everything" error. Did it work? I am confused. Tried it on both Firefox and IE. Was there some sort of a confirm for people that had it work?

 		I experienced the same trouble, except using Firefox fixed it: when the website detects the cookie (or whatever it's supposed to do) a form submission will appear where the warning was that asks you to input where you found the missing video and your contact information.

Don't know if it's your cache or the flash plugin or what since I'm not quite that tech-savvy.

I wrote one of the guys behind the contest, letting him know of the problem. I'll post an update if/when I get a response.

I tend to not let websites save cookies to my computer... Meh, now to decide if I want to turn my blocker off and go through everything again.

 		I've submitted my answer several times and got no reply of any sort just kicked back to the main contest page, even tried different answers, if someone would be willing to contact me who has gotten a reply I could contact me and help me out I would greatly appreciate it, halomethodSPLATgmail.com
