 		I made a mistake in the numbers, the fourth number should be 88 not 80. With that change, I was able to decode the message where it at least made sense.

Nice! How did you decode it? Seems there are still small errors. Especially "the.nlihui" seems an important part. (NLI?)

After decoding the first set of runes you get..

only slightly improved yet most of the untranslated words are translatable "latin". Hoping there is someone who can do more than throw it through the "bot". Will work further and welcome any real, latinish help. Smile

Words in parentheses are found in the Cassells Latin Dictionary:

I'm not sure the actual words/verse is important, it's just what's being used as the key to XOR the real message.

The email I posted here, using the same method described above with the XOR calculator on the /ThisOrThat page, the message decoded is:

 		I agree with enaxor that the verse moght not be important. Nevertheless googling for the latin phrase reveals that it is psalme 31 verse 9

and the translation is

Then things get a little nuts. I'm blogging, trying to call my dad, who should be home now, at the same time, and a fleet of black Hummers pull up, tearing through the front yard and spilling something like twenty guys in suits. This is the universal signal for get the hell out of here. I dove out the rear bathroom window and made it across a cow pasture at a dead run. It was cloudy and raining so I don't think they saw me.

I have a place to hole up while I sort things out. And internet access when I can get into this room.

I'll keep in touch.
