Russia ... New Team to enter quest ...

Remeber Sergie from Book 4? the Driver/Pilot to Alistair?

He has a boy and a girl exactly Ian and Natalie's age ... and Amy and Dan's age. We were briefly introduced to their characters.

But remember when stopping to refuel ... Alistair said that this was not a social visit ... and Sergie replied, "My kids aren't Socialists." Very Happy
Why was Sergie so eager to have his children meet Amy and Dan?

 ... and we've got a winner!

Hey Everyone!

I was going over old posts and one of them read about having only 1 week to email back if one is chosen for a prize ... and I'm not so good now that I'm no longer in the business world of checking my emails on a daily basis ... so I thought ... I better check my main account which I have all my 39 Clues Reading Club kids signed up under my email ... and lo and behold!!! There was an important message from Scholastic!

One of my 10 year old boys ... and he just had a birthday ... is a potential 3rd place winner in the Book 3 book cards -- I guess they have to verify that he is legit, and all is well ... but he'll win $50.00! This is sooooooo exciting! ~ MisterRobin is his Cahill name.

I think what I'll do is when he or his mom receive the check ... I'll take a photograph of him with Peter's Book and put this exciting news in our little town newspaper! This is like cool stuff! I am so excited!!! All the other kids in the club will be so envious ... but I bet it will peak their interest to stay competitive and hang in there for the whole 10 books.

Yay!! This Branch Leader is one happy dawg!!

Oh by the way, …MisterRobin is a Tomas.

And this NRR person ... (Not Rick Riordan?) lol

EDIT: He/She must be a Tomas have access to all branch files as the letter is written on Tomas stationary.

So ... It's NOT the Madrigals that are viewing Grace as the threat.

Hmmmm ... We have had little info on the Tomas Branch besides the grudge that Eisenhower Holt has.

In Too Deep - light Blue in color ... maybe Jude has infiltrated the Tomas Stronghold and will reveal more to us in Book 5 ?? Wink

So, we can cross off this secret stronghold as belonging to the Tomas.
Also, the Lucian branch ... the word Lucian/Lucians doesn't fit the space of the blacked-out word.

So it leaves either Janus or Ekats ?? Hmmm. Ekats?

Yay!! I figured how to quote ... duh!

Anyway ... The latest top secret file accessed by NRR was a highly confidential Tomas file.

The last memo accessed by NRR was a Cahill memo sent from Agent 802 to this NRR person.

So ... NRR must be a Cahill. Which got me thinking and looking back at some of the cards ... I'm just wondering now ... that with all the hidden images in for example, The Black Circle ... could card images also hold hidden pictures?

CARD 61 ... how could we have missed it?
I have my magnifying glass out!! Look closely.

Am I wrong?

PS: The resolution is not so great ... but I will try to blow up small sections and if I think it is worth while to post my findings pointing them out ... and ya'all want me too ... I will.

NRR
What branch is NRR?

I think NRR could possibly be a Lucian. Isn't the file for Card 426 a Lucian file? That might prove that NRR is a Lucian.

I don't think anyone posted this but it's so obvious so I'm not sure. On card 132 it shows a hand with a black light over a painting of Abigail Adams and it reveals an M meaning Abigail Adam was a Madrigal. But the weird thing is that if you look closely she is wearing a pearl necklace. if somebody already posted this then sorry for the trout. But if we didn't then we just overlooked something literally staring us in the face.

Except that pearl, as one of the 39 clues, is a Janus clue. So it could just be that she's a woman wearing pearls - which is highly common, especially among those who are a bit more well to do.

Yeah, that's probably true. I guess I was excited about this find and I saw the pearls and jumped to a conclusion.

With the Madrigals, I think we're all a little jumpy. Wink

The Madrigals put us on our guard. And they also make us jumpy. They must be bad if the Lucians are afraid of them. Do you think Amy, Dan, and Grace are Madrigals?

But she was impersonating a janus (i think)

Haha. I know what you mean. I found out that the card packs are 700 pesos or something. I was only able to buy one. Smile
I love Eskrima too. We have a couple of those sticks here and my cousins and I keep hitting each other. Smile

Anyway, I just noticed, but in TST, Alistair felt bad that he sent Amy and Dan looking for the Toyotomo Hideyoshi clue although he already knew that clue or something. Somebody check. I forgot my book at home.
