Anyway, got in on this one from Twitter as well. Amelia Earhart would be good. Suppose there's anything we're supposed to gather from the background noise in the video?

guys...i think the nine nine nine is just meaning september 9, 2009 ... as it says on the youtube video. which could be the arg is actually starting then, that is the finish point, or like a big event point for the arg.

anyone know of any events happening on that date? a convention perhaps?

I'm with George on this one. I think Hallucinine is something separate from the film and I suspect it's got something to do with Earhart. So, I'm reading up on her just in anticipation that future clues will tie in with her as well in some way.

I'm not discounting it just yet. Some of the footage from the trailers for '9' was in black and white, and the vibe seems to be the same era.

The I am a seeker part gets me to beleive this

However the fact that he commented to adamkidde's Video(a theoretical Viral for A Donnie Darko Sequel) that makes me think these 2 may be related.
