I guess we should research Agatha Christie as a possible blog/site addy?

Also the word 'spot' is in italics.

It's because I'm bored Wink and I saw that italics too... after you of course Smile

I told Matthew about the find and he replied:
Quote:
nogainswoutpain@swift360 hmmmm. Maybe that Christie mention has more to do with Christine than we think.

Edit: so does that mean Christine will be somewhere at 7pm on the 19th? I see ARGfest ends on the 19th in OR, right? I don't know where to go now.

This is the version of the song that was used in Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians":

Quote:
Ten little Indian boys went out to dine;
One choked his little self and then there were nine.

Nine little Indian boys sat up very late;
One overslept himself and then there were eight.

Eight little Indian boys travelling in Devon;
One said he'd stay there and then there were seven.

Seven little Indian boys chopping up sticks;
One chopped himself in half and then there were six.

Six little Indian boys playing with a hive;
A bumblebee stung one and then there were five.

Five little Indian boys going in for law;
One got in Chancery and then there were four.

Four little Indian boys going out to sea;
A red herring swallowed one and then there were three.

Three little Indian boys walking in the zoo;
A big bear hugged one and then there were two.

Two Little Indian boys sitting in the sun;
One got frizzled up and then there was one.

One little Indian boy left all alone;
He went out and hanged himself and then there were none.

That is my favorite Agatha Christie work. This was totally made for me. Very Happy

Also, it's good to know that, when I take my trip to the dark side, I won't be alone!

nogainswoutpain Christie is so close to Christine. Perhaps she liked to play on words.

The original work had the N word instead of Indians which was not a bad word at the time. When the book was published in the US in 1945 it contained the version posted above. Here is the wiki entry with the versions.

Mine too! I read it a few years ago and loved it. I've always liked the ending; Just incredible, and really out of the blue. A great mystery all the way around, really... Wink

lol. i see it always on the left side of the page. never noticed until you brought it up. it's tiny.

Ok, so we have Christine Smith. Agatha Christie. And then there were none. and spot

And there are more Christie Smiths than I care to sift through.

And of course Matt suggesting that she liked to play on words.

I wondered the same thing earlier but dismissed it to people using fake names or not their UF account names in the bios. I'm trying to match up the bios to the email list now.

Ok, missing bios from:
Caroline
James
Redct
Will
Atomicsnowflake
Ralph
Lainie
Daniel D
Trinity
Jason
Bryan
Travis
