Does anyone know how to open the "lunchbox" on the right side of the room? It might have been in an earlier post of this topic but I can't find it...
*sigh* I will tell people once again. We covered all of that on page 9.

He's getting desperate. The note in the type writer is sad. So could we possible be getting a brand new brain to help us gather evidence?

Yeah, it's pretty depressing to read. Poor guy lost everything and has no one to reach out to.

Yeah but an odd thing is that he cut off mid word at the end. Now he may have just had to take a piss and will be back to finish it or its a new lead

I don't know, I got the feeling he just realized it was pointless to ask Amanda for help, but you could be right. Maybe something pulled him away mid-sentence...

did anyone notice the paper under the light of the lamp? It's about a fire that tore through the lofts of a building that Lutwidge owned

I got my record 2 days ago. I don't think I'll open it so it will be a collectors item, hopefully. haha

I feel so bad for Mark. I wish I could just tell him about Rapture! lol

I would do the exact same. But the thing is that if we did tell him there would most likely be very little hope for his daughter. The Big Sister would make sure of it. Damned you Andrew Ryan and your evil mind!

Yeah, I noticed it but I couldn't remember if it had been there before. Seems someone trashed Lutwidge's place after he disappeared. Not shocking...

new update today...

looks like benny stango put out a warrant for Meltzer's arrest. if i read it right, he is out on bail.

the penal code listed is for Trespassing, i presume at his ex-wife's place.

also, if you look near the record player, there's a tape by Lutwidge, "For the Seeker". Something for Meltzer, or someone like him? It hints at Rapture's location, and says other things that I cannot yet decipher. I'll listen to it some more.

Edit: Here it is:
Quote:
The Opener of the Way greets the Seeker of the Secret. Foolish Percival, would you know of Rapture? You've sought, but you have not sought deeply. Even as you stood in the ashes of my quest, and your hand closed upon the echo of my voice, a deeper secret awaited beneath the hollow of your soul. Rapture may lie close to heaven, but heaven lies not always in the heights. Look downward, angel, and find the threefold key with the sevenfold lock… But know you this: the path of knowledge is sewn with pitfalls. This is Orrin Lutwidge, September 1958

Tresspassing charge was for Lutwidge's place, read all about it on the newest scrap of paper to grace Meltzer's desk. It's by the typewriter, next to the article about Lutwidge. Stango's been following poor Meltzer.

Edit: Also, I don't think Lutwidge said "Percival" I think he said "Parcival" which could be a reference to a knight who was searching for the Holy Grail and eventually found it.

yes, that's what I thought, too. But I prefer the spelling Percival. Both are considered acceptable.
Also, Percival may have found the grail, but he also lost it.

Does beg the question...how did Lutwidge know there would be a "Seeker" in his "ashes" 10 years after the fact? Am I missing something? The game is taking place in '67 right?
