The 16:23 pillow was located in Phoenix, AZ in a bar and was HOT yesterday. I was there. Are you sure of the cordinates ?

Sorry, my bad. I meant the 16:27 pillow.

A Bit Behind

I am confused. I thought the Axons would only go hot on the 24th. Do they do it every day?

40.773359 -73.96416 - 14:47 PDT Whitney Museum, New York, NY

A group of ~15 of us had gone here on Tuesday, nothing happened. Then rose told me in chat that there are payphones in the Whitney, downstairs next to the restrooms. We didn't have access to them on Tuesday because the museum is closed on Tuesdays Rolling Eyes

So I went again yesterday (Wednesday), and sure enough, dowstairs next to the restrooms, were 3 beautiful payphones. And Gabriel. There was a security guard nearby but thankfully he gave us no grief, and the call went off without a hitch. AXON IS HOT Rock On

Thanks rose Smile

And Gabriel....we've got to stop meeting like this Very Happy

So we have 4 out of 7 in NYC. Turns out the other 3 may all be inside University buildings. I'm kinda determined to get them all, looks like I'll have to practice my social engineering skills.

I say it takes us another 2 weeks for all of these axons to go hot (if they have too). Bang Head

The 13:29 should be outside - either on Greene St (west side of the street, closer to 4th St), on the south side of 4th St between Greene and Mercer, or on the south side of Washington Pl in front of NYU security (I *think* there's a phone there, but I'm not sure). My money's still on the one that's actually on Greene - I think the address of the phone causes it to map a couple hundred feet north of where it is, because Verizon's hotspot lookup puts it in the exact same place. I'm out of work again today, but as soon as I'm back I'll try and scope it out.

It'd be really cool if we could get the 12:20 at Rockefeller University - then all seven axons for walkaway_girl would be hot, and we could see if anything cool happens. Geek

You_Knew 8:31 PDT AXON

Was at the site early, met with two others. Got the call, Makkablue answered it.
Usual message, "Thank god its you, are you are whom you should be? What's my knickname?"
Said "Opperator"
"You don't know me! Cut down chatter on your end . . . I love bees I love bees . . ."

The area is a subway entrance and was pretty noisy.
Will bring better equipment tomorrow to reduce noise on the reciever and will get it this time!

Demascus and I showed up early to the 08:31"you_knew" location, which was located just down the subway steps from the Burger king on 8th and market, right in front of the market line train entrance. We checked the phone so it could receive incoming calls, found it working, and set about to waiting.

Around 11:25, a few minute before the call, 2 other people showed up, lugging their bikes down the stairs to get to the phone. I don't think they're on the forums, but they go to the same school the Demascus and I work at. They shared with us the information from the day before, about what they messed up on, etc.

the phone call came right on time, and Demascus picked up the phone. As he was replying "Operator", a mother and her child, a little boy about 3-4 years old, came down the stair, and the boy was screaming and making the fweaking "whoooo-oooooop! Eeeeeeeeeeeek!" noise. They were right next to us, causing none of us to be able to hear a damn thing.

On the phone, the person on the other line said something like "your systems and mine are having trouble connecting. try cutting down the chatter noise in the background" followed by another pause, then "I don't know you, and you don't know me... I-love-bees-I-love-bees"

in the background, the child kept screaming and hollering.

I fweaking hate kids.

So 08:31 day 2 was a bust thanks to matters outside our control. Our axon isn't hot, so it looks like we're going to have to do it again tommorrow. I'm going to have to cut out of class early to make it, but with luck, we'll have it tommorrow, and philadelphia will go hot.

17:11 location in SF was a bust; we were SURE we had the found the phone. We called it, it rang, but it didn't ring at the allotted time. After SYFer and I departed, I went back phones I was guarding on the 24th and called them. Both did not accept incomming calls. I'm gonna try calling the set SYFer was guarding (further away from the GPS location) tomorrow morning, but as of now, I'm out of options. Does anyone in the SF area have an actual GPS device? I'm planning to be infront of A pay phone tomorrow, just don't know where yet Smile (This will be day 3 of me ducking out of work to get this #*$% axon hot, but it should be worth it)

Sorry I couldn't be there with you guys though. My parents control my life for one more day (until I move to college campus), so good luck later on.

didn't have a chance to update this yesterday, so...

41.153867 -81.35625 Kent Ohio 6:59PDT jersey

After the group missed it Tuesday -- there were too many loud trucks/busses passing by the phone just as the call came in -- I walked over Wednesday (I only live 100 feet from the phone) and lucked out with the call. Did the "repeat" thing once, in case anybody else showed up, but no one else did.

I was kind of surprised no one else showed up after the large-ish group on Tuesday, but at least got an additional axon to go hot...

12:38 in Seattle went off perfectly. I repeated once, and I swear I heard her say that OUR hardware was too damaged to continue at the end.

UGH!!!! Well, I went down to the payphone by where the Pizza Hut used to be for the 13:38 one under stupid_cop. It was working and I was on time. I couldn't check is the phone rang since I left my cell at home. I kept picking up every 30 or so seconds though. Unfortunately, it didn't ring. Nothing. I waited until 4:45 but there was nothing. This was down the road from where the coordinate since at the original one I did not see anything. I'll have to check again at the original spot when it stops raining or tomorrow. The coords are supposed to be pretty accurate right? Hopefully, i'll be able to find a solution soon.

axon is HOT.

Met three nice young men; staked out the most likely phones (right under the dot on the map), let them take the call.

This is right on the river under the National Airport flight path. Thanks heavens no planes came by - it gets deafening there.

I'm finding the downtown DC coordinates to be really accurate. No hunting far afield to find the phone.

However, they had an axon on their list an hour later over by the National Archives. (Pennsylvania between 6th & 7th I think) I don't have it on my list from Tuesday, and but I see no other D.C. locations later in the day on Phil, so I'm sorry I couldn't help them avoid a wasted trip.

Just a quick question, did anyone ever get the one in Independence Missouri? I live like 5 minutes from that mall. I wonder cause I'll have some time this weekend for it.
