Jurassic Technology

As I mentioned at the Notary Signing (yay!), any Non-Chalants visiting the Los Angeles area could do much worse if they visited The Museum of Jurassic Technology (MJT).

Just like the Jejune Institute, I don't want to give it away: One has to experience it for themselves.

Elsewhere
(snippet of discussion)

"...Elsewhere is much smaller than Earth, yet (at least) co-extant with it. What this means is that although Elsewhere has nowhere near the same area, you can get to any place on Earth from some position in Elsewhere."

"The matter of Elsewhere's relation to time is...well, to be blunt, too anomalous...[snippet ends]"

Oakland Nonchalance

I encountered hidden signs of nonchalance at the Oakland/Temescal farmer's market over the past weekend.

Interestingly enough, it points directly toward the Oaklandish booth.

NY Mission Report

alrighty people i'm back from NY. Sucks i missed the notarization event but hopefully Waltheanstough decides to stop by again.

my mission to the east coast revealed some interesting things. Turns out Octavio's reach has spanned all the way to the big apple. lacking my HHMHD (Hand Held Microwave Harassment Detector), cause i don't think that airport security would have taken kindly to it, i had to rely on intuition and monitoring of headaches as i walked through the city. for a while it seemed fine and it looked as if my mission was turning out to be the family vacation it was described as. unfortunately our touristing trek brought us eventually, and inevitably, to Times Square. I was surprised at what i saw. They had converted many of the streets into tourist viewing lounges by blocking off the roads with traffic barrels and setting up lawn chairs everywhere so people could sit and gaze at the warm glow of consumerism. It's evidently a pretty new addition to the city and many of its denizens are unhappy at the 'cheesy' furniture. it was around this time that i felt it. the unmistakable pains of microwave harassment. But where were they coming from? My discovery was shocking. It's coming from the billboards. All those flashing lights and sounds are emitting their own special brand of harassment that is putting the populous in a slow and dim disposition. it seems it only really effects the out-of-towners as i'm sure those who live there have a special immunity. I was also able to locate a number of effected green boxes around the area and quickly made a perimeter of caution and forewarning with a few stickers i had brought with me.

Harassment:

also: i find it curious that only two blocks away from the center of Times Square AND 580 California lies the main Cult Church Cult of Scientology for the area. Coincidence?

Good Job with the warning lables! I dont know why, but seeing those stickers placed in NY is just so... I dunno surreal? Kinda cool seeing the message being spread all over the US. I think I need to plant a few down here in SoCal...

Weaksauce. It's a total spoiler, I'd hate to read their movie reviews.

I almost spat out my beer when I was flipping through the Bay Guardian and came across the photo of Octavio Coleman, Esquire.

But I think they should have played along rather that giving so much away.

Epic.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Duckstabby: I'm actually going to be very interested to see whether Urban Phoenix is up to the challenge of attempting to digitally reproduce his 4ft x 4ft epic masterpiece. Video maybe?

---

I had a dim recollection of something that might work for him, and sure enough, it is still on the "the net." Only eighteen bucks! Just one problem, though ...

Your travel costs are a little higher.

1. find a high place (building balcony, ladder, etc.)
2. place object on the ground
3. get a digital camera
4. take picture from high place (with something next to it for size reference)
5. ???
6. PROFIT!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

protip: Louie Chen's office is pretty high up and overlooks that park in china town.
