Son claims to be seeing shadowy man in a hat in his room. Any idea what he's on about?

Fortunately, it doesn't appear that this guy's son is lost/kidnapped and we need to find him, because PHEW, I'm tired of that. Maybe kid is scarred by what he saw when out past curfew. Alright!

Got followed by this guy, too, alongside all the "usual suspects" 'round here.
He's quite active... at the time I'm writing this, he's following over 850 people.

They followed my newly-created ARG twitter (www.twitter.com/spaceboyarg , by the way. )

I got the follow too. Twitter definitely seems to be the new ARG medium. Unfortunately with all the Bot/Spam followers I get, I tend to miss the start of new games. Glad I saw this one early on.

Looking into the Twitter a little more, I Googled "top hat man shadow" and came up with a lot of hits. Apparently there are thousands of people in the world who have seen variations of a shadowy man wearing a hat standing in their room. I found this site particularly interesting: http://www.thehatmanproject.com/ .
And Wikipedia has an article about shadow people: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow_people .
I also replied to Radio's Twitter with
Quote:
It sounds like your son is seeing the famous Top Hat Shadow Man. Eerie phenomenon. Don't know what it is.
So maybe this is a ghost hunt?

I am so keeping up with this! The idea of shadow people kinda creeps me out a little, but it's part of ghost hunting, which I am ALL about!
Very interesting find about the Hat Man!

That site seemed pretty ARGy, so I ran a whois. It was registered in June 1st, 2008 by a contact at The Omega Report. Googling Duncan Conner's name (he's mentioned as the site admin in the About section) reveals this page, an article written by Duncan Conner at The Omega Report. The Omega Report appears to be a Christian-conspiracy-theory website that borders on crazy; however, it also appears to be a legit, non-ARG website.
So, in conclusion, http://www.thehatmanproject.com is confirmed OOG, IMO.

twitter ftw I got followed, checked it out. Lurking for now, hasn't pulled me in yet (I dunno, ARGs need to really grab me, sorry). Portentially interesting - and more to the point, apparently following 4 major ARG news twitters is a good way to get trailheads; twitter ftw!

I got twitter followed too.
I thought it was because my tweet last night, about me summoning my shadow watcher to protect me when I sleep alone in the cottage. I suspected nothing ARG about Radiocollective, but then I saw who was following RC and figured it out.
Anyway, I tweeted RC about the shadow people and provided a link to a wiki page on them before I realised.
Always ready to help with my Paranormal Investigation Expertise! There were shadow people involved in the last ARG I played, PIE Theory . Since then, I appearantly belive I am a PIE 4 life.

Unfortunately I have no experience deconstructing videos. Any suggestions or should I just wait for someone else to do it?

The first 3 embedded frames are "I" "need" "help", I haven't gotten to the others yet. Dial-up=slow videos.
