 		Sorry for the double, but I wanted to post this and I cant look into it right now. James answered my email with the following:

 		I know I'm too late to say it's the amendment, but wanted to bring up an email I got from James Madison

Side note: The emails we get from the True Pat blog are for the patriotjames1776SPLATgmail.com addy and so are the "fake James" gmail chats. Hacked account? He sent me the mail I posted at the top with instructions on the directions, but at this point I feel weird asking for confirmation on the following coords (within a quarter block): 45°31'08"N 122°40'40"W (Yellow/Blue/Red train station). Btw, I think that is the right location, but I'm not positive, so chime in if you think I'm on the wrong track...

Also: If that is the correct location, I hope the PM('s) stop making a habit of stumbling through the curtain here...

 		We have stated several times here, at ARGFest, and individually to aspiring PM's that uF is OOG. Bringing it up via the characters does nothing but confuse the heck out of players and make matters worse for story progression since in this situation we are left to wonder why this PM is not familiar with the ToS.

Overall this ARG has been interesting. The story seems intriguing but the PayPal links early on made me wonder what is going on. And now the third reference to uF IG brings me to believe that this particular PM is someone outside the community here and simply unfamiliar with our housekeeping.

Let's see how this plays out.

 		I agree with ndemeter. As a side note, Kincaid is now spelled correctly on the last blog entry hehehe.

So I just called the Patriots Hotline at 206-350-7728 and punched in the password:

So I only verified that the pw worked on his account, beyond that I only dled the two files in his inbox. One of them is the message I left on the hotline answering machine to test if I could retrieve it. The other file needs to be decompiled (there is a message with flashing text in there). I also saw some possible Twitter account stuff & thats all I could check out for now. Ill check it out later tonight if no one here does before me. K gotta go, real busy at work.

Sorry bout the strike, I opened the wrong file from a diff ARG Rolling Eyes -so basically if you leave a message on the hotline, it sends the audio file to his gmail. 1 file is me (almost the same greeting I put on the hotline) & the other file is someone going "it just beeped" & then hanging up... I'm gonna look through hall his mails now.

 		I also agree with ndemeter - considering the PMs or their puppets showed up at ARGFest, handed out papers to people, left stuff lying around - and then DISRUPTED A PANEL: One of the guys handing out the papers was accosted by two other people who dragged him out of the room and pretended to tazer him, while he was screaming "Project 912 is real!" :p

Hello. I would just like to step out from behind the curtain for a
brief moment and address some issues that came up. Please forgive me

(and after what happened today, I'm not sure I would be welcomed there
anyway).

1) While we did break the ToS about the forums being OOG, we always
felt this was not a strict rule. It always seemed to us that the
characters SHOULD be able to check the forums, but after hearing Dave
Tanabaum (please excuse me if I misspelled your name) and the logic
behind it, we decided that all references to the forum is now OOG and
all the characters got force mind erased about the forums. Smile Please
accept this public apology and going forward, with any other ARG we do
(and also with this one), the forums will remain firmly OOG. Now, if
it spreads to another forum, we will more closely follow the ToS on
that forum as well.

2) The action at the panel. When we planned this, we made sure to pick
a panel that this would be less annoying and actually part of the
topic (blurring the lines of reality). The entire action took 13
seconds (The video I took shows it) and we made sure to get in and out
of there as fast as possible. We are very sorry we did not contact the
convention runners about this, but we felt a surprise would be better.
The actors we hired were stopped and prevented from leaving the area
by someone who worked for the con and while there was physical
grabbing on the conventions part, we understand how tempers can run
hot and have no plans on holding a grudge against UnFiction for it. Smile
We would be interested in the claims that we (the puppet masters of
this ARG) now owe the convention $500 for the interruption and are
agreeable to discussing it further.

3) The Plotline. James Madison was picked up at the convention and
there will NOT be a meeting Sunday (since James is sitting in a cell
someplace undisclosed). There is more to the plotline, but that will
reveal itself in part 2 (consider this a teaser) due to start in a
week or two. We hope that you all are still interested in playing this
ARG as we have lots of fun ideas to play out.

Lastly, if anyone wants to contact the puppet masters directly, you
may do so by emailing patriotjames1776SPLATgmail.com and mark the subject
with an OOG: so that I know to delete it off the account as soon as
possible.

This is completely the wrong attitude to take towards this issue. We have only asked that the forum ToS is respected. And when there is a mishap the only way to resolve it and move past it is open dialogue. The meeting of reasonable minds to discuss and resolve a situation is most definitaly welcomed here and so is this game's PM. I would be interested to see the reaction from the players and PMs in an OOG chat after this game/chapter has concluded.

Again, the PM(s) have no reason to believe that they are not welcomed here. Thanks.
