Hello folks, I'm Dav Flamerock (you may recognize me as the guy who solved the puzzle with Shad0's expert assistance, and who helped retreive/open the skull drops).

Anyway, there's 88 pages in this thread that I don't want to read, so can someone please link me to all the relevant websites/twitter accounts so I can get myself caught up? Shad0 explained a few things to me, but I don't want to be finding any more trouts Razz

From what I saw in the vids from ARGfest, there wasn't much similarity at all.

The Halo 3 skulls have neural interfaces on the backs of them (indicating their owners were a few individuals who were part of the Spartan program), as well as symbols etched into them, and/or gold teeth in the dental work (a special feature of the Mythic skulls).

Additionally, the skulls in Halo do not have the bottom jaw (the better to grip them and punch someone with! Very Happy

).

Conceptually, you could argue that the Intimation skulls are similar because they are marked, but the placement of the marking and the style of the skull are completely different. Smile

I, too, am pretty much just jumping in here...intimation added me on Twitter ages ago, near the beginning, but I got busy & didn't follow up with reading here or playing until now. Thank you for that great post with all the links...I have not read through this forum thread (I have done searches on things that piqued my interest as I read the other links, but there is much I'm missing out on I'm sure), but I have read through all the system logs, mission logs, and so on, as well as some sites about Halo's story (since I haven't played the games), watched related YouTube videos, and so on...so I hope I'm ready to join y'all.

So...is there anything we're supposed to be working on right now, or are we waiting for the next puzzle?

Well, the last we heard from this Society, we were told to "wait for the sign." We're trying to find more information on the society, but it looks like all we really have so far are the images at the top of this page. So I'm thinking that we just need to keep our eyes open for now.
