[INFO] The Halo 2 Movie Trailer

Quote:
So, based on some of the comments on Dana's blog about Halo 2 and ilovebees.com I decided that I needed to see for myself. #beekeepers discovered that the trailer is only playing at Loews Theatres, and since there is one in my town, I went to go see I, Robot there tonight (even tho the theatre sucks and I have free passes to the other theatre in the area).

I paid my $7.50, and settled down to wait for the trailers to begin.

The first 3-4 commercials were all Loews commericals, and I was getting quite annoyed that it might not play. And then the trailer finally started. I sat, I waited, I sat on the edge of my seat when the ending came up.

Right at the end, when the X-Box logo appears, you see www.xbox.com underneath. And for a split second....it switches to www.ilovebees.com.

So there is confirmation #3 that this is true. And if you don't believe me, find a Loews and look for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Gah, seriously? I just saw I, Robot yesterday, but came too late for the trailers.

News about the trailer.

High-Res Trailer

Finally we have a high-res trailer of Halo 2. Thanks to the Halo 2 guy that showed up in #ilovebees today (beginning to be glad of 2nd room now).

You can definitly see the www.ilovebees.com now. And now everyone who hasn't seen the trailer in the theatres yet have no more reason to be skeptical. Very Happy

Just for those who have to have to see it big as life (or bigger) before they'll believe it... (like me). This is a magnification of a screenshot taken by Jamesi.

Just watched the trailer for kicks and noticed something funny. Everything that shows a third-person view is FMV, not gameplay footage. However, the few first-person view shots ARE gameplay footage. It's from a multiplayer game (probably lets them set up good shots) because you can see the messages about who is killing who. The first such shot is ten seconds into the trailer, it shows the Master Chief killing an elite. The message?

"You killed truth."

I really thought I was on to something for a second, until I noticed two instances at 24 seconds.

"You killed Regret i" and "Johnson killed Pity."

If only it was James or Janissary killed Pity. OH well. Wink

devolver, good catch, but this is actually trout. It's been established that these were the mandated names for characters to use during the E3 demo (IIRC) and they would not be "in-game clues"... So I know you knew, but just for all the noobs to the game, I wanted to clarify on that one...
