Regarding the SPAM concerns... Until you can know with 100% certainty who is running a game and how they've promised/not promised to use your info, you're not really safe.
For the most part, the movie companies are good about taking you off their lists. Some of the consultants hired to run a game for them may not be so concerned with you not being interested in their future endeavors.
Setting up an ARG email account is an easy way to keep your personal life, personal.

I think Rogi was saying that this is very easy to fake.
However, this curtain-ripping stuff is typical of large advert ARGs...
Still, I'm with Rogi on this one. Personal life is far too easy to invade these days.
Some ppl have PO Boxes that relatively cheap (at least in Oz!) that would give you a little extra security...

Did you only get that email after sending Lucy an email or did it come after you applied? Has anyone gotten any communications based just on an application?

What a great time to be able to return to ARGing! Applied as a Computer Analyst / Quantum Robotics Consultant
And for those of you worried about this being some hoax that might make off with your personal information, may your fears be assuaged. MyIPNeighbors shows that the site in on the same IP as a myriad of other Paramount sites, so at least it's the real deal.
@Maven , no it seems that only emailing Lucy Park gets you the auto response so far.
And for the record, if anyone's interested, emailing tstarkSPLAT starkindustriesnow.com doesn't work.

Damn... I really would love to work for Tony Stark.
Applied for a position just now, stating I graduated MIT at the same time Tony Stark did.
Of course, I was older...
This sounds like fun.
