Can't get any of my transposition columns to line up correctly and while anagrams don't gel with the spaces, this in one:
Code:
We welcome human pain abby. Finish or I would test. Thing I got useless code.

Sleeepy time here. Posting this just to help others doing anagrams. Good Luck Y'all.

What I was trying to say, earlier:
The columnar transposition is just a specific way of anagramming the phrases. If it's done that way, it's theoretically possible to anagram it. But it's certainly not practical. There must be more clues, like the spacing. The "words" remaining the same length. The rarity of 15-letter-words notwithstanding.
Other than that one Wink, do we have any sensible words of that length?

The text is 77 characters. You can only group this neatly in 7x11 or the other way around. I tried it, but I'm not sure I understand how the applet (coltrans) works exactly...thought the encoding was dead-simple. But I get very different results.

Figures that right when this game stops it with the annoying audio comprehension stuff, it's sleepy-time for me, too. Mad
And won't be around, tomorrow. Have fun! Smile

Put this in your pipe and smoke it: Did a few quick frequency analyses with this text, and from what I can see, it appears to be a close match to typical English frequencies. Meaning that the letters are probably not shifted/replaced, but simply scrambled using some formula. The capital letters for the beginning of sentences and the periods for the ending may be the best clue we have (although welcome and Abby might be good clues as well).

Reckon we all have our own fav for columnar transpositions. Mine is CipherClerk's Applet which always works easily.

However, what I was saying is that the 15 letter word wasn't compatable, at least not for me. Wink

Just in: ChildrenofZ has posted from San Antonio.

Could he be planning to do something at the KRF Headquarters in Houston?

Theories needed.

Okay, I've made no progress on the code besides realizing that there are three sentences that start with the letters W, T, and F, thus perfectly describing my feelings toward this code.

This seems to be more than an anagram at first glance.

EDIT: That was easy, ROT13 Cipher.

The numbers must be the key to his first message, but I still don't know what to do with them.

I'm trying to see if that key could apply to any well-known ciphers, but no such luck so far.

Alright, I googled 6 49 and found out that this is the Canadian lotto. So do you think that this week's winning lotto numbers could have something to do with the code?

It doesn't seem likely, Neither Kryptos, Abby, ChildrenofZ, or KRF has given us any reason to believe that the Canadian lottery could be a clue, or that Canada or Lotteries in general have anything to do with the Z1 virus or the coded messages.

Probably just coincidence.

I'm toying with the idea that this is a transposition cipher and the 649 is somehow the key.
Unfortunately, I have NO idea how to decode this, key or no key.

*bashes head against wall* Stupid Sotpyrk, I hate you.

ETA: I just realized, the ZT site posted this:

And the city that the article was talking about is where ChildrenOfZ is, San Antonio

*sigh* I'm not going to be able to do this tonight. I'm going to bed, see you guys tomorrow.

Not sure if this will help, but I'll try.

The pic posted has a file name of 19965888

Could this help with one of the weird decypher things that I don't quite understand?

Confused
