this one's audio doesn't actually sound distorted

just a bit..

confusing

though i think ye could be right about the relation to the eps...

could there be more copies of the tapes apart form "j"'s?

First post here. I've been lurking around Marble Hornets and all that stuff.
I find it quite interesting... however, I post this only to point something that nobody has seen yet:

On the video "Operator" at 0:17 just after the whole speech (that yes, if you follow all of the caps it says LISTEN), you can clearly hear somebody whispering something. My guess is that it says ERIC, but who is Eric?

Nice find Natas.

This probably isn't much help, but I overlayed all the text. It doesn't fit the way I was hoping it would.

EDIT: Yeah, I hear something at the end. It does sound like "Eric" but I can't figure out why that's important--but it may not be right.

okay here's an interesting thought; when i listened to the audio,
it kind of sounds like its in reverse instead of distorted.

okay I played the audio in reverse but have not yet discovered anything

strange. Its my first time doing sound editing so this could take a while LOL

Is that the download for the raw mp3 or did you doctor it up any?

I'm pretty sure it's missing the end. I've looked it over with Audacity several times and the "Eric" that a bunch of people are hearing is DEFINITELY not there. I'm downloading it again from the tubes to see if I can get a clearer file.
