As for the dispute on chronology you guys really should check out the general updates, there is a link ot a site where all files have been stiched together. (might help you out Nick) I also belive that Jan's story should be tagged on to the end of Jersey's story since the last file in Jersey's files end with quote"I can do better than that." (Refering to Jan) that would explain the tape wind-up sound at the start of Jan's storyline.

The tape windup/wind down sounds do not have anything to do with chronology. They simply denote the beginning/ending of each individual scene.

I just registered here, and while I have read a good chunk of this massive thread, I haven't read all of it. So excuse me if I'm repeating.

In 'hey_dad', when J^2 enters the room....

Jan: Hey Dad
*beep sound*
Cop: Oooh, there's a spike on the baseline.

We know that she isn't a normal teenager, and that they don't have a normal Father/Daughter relationship, but does anyone think this implies that she isn't actually his child?

Would be nice to see if there is a change when one goes completely hot.

The times are PDT, not EDT. Right now, by my computer clock, it's 12:16 PDT, 3:16 EDT (15:16 EDT). We have three hours or so until that axon. First up is Walk_away_girl.

Excuse me, I've been a lurker around here since mid-July or so. I wondered if any of you would find it plausible that, just maybe, the connection between these 'storylines' are, infact, quite weak- and they remain so.

What if 'Durga', whilst doing her best for Mr. Jersey, starts to take a more personal interest in all of this- she is curious. She likes to 'find' things, to learn about things. There might not be any more substance to it than that- she obviously has a distinct personality, as shown by the dialogue between her and Jersey. It's been said that "you're everywhere" could imply that she had already begun to seep into the very building Jersey was in. As she spreads, she picks up things- little background conversations. Some might peak her interest more than others. Perhaps she takes an interest in the technical topic of ghosting- maybe she is trying to learn how it works. She seems to enjoy knowing the whole story- she might not show JERSEY the whole story, but she just finds satisfaction in knowing the whole thing herself.

I don't believe I deserve a trout for this, but as of now I am finding it hard to make any other hard "connection" between the distinct storylines. Something more distinct will probably be found later but for now I enjoy the idea that Durga is a very complex.. 'individual' with, hm- maybe something like double agendas, persey. Something like that.

Good input, Trout, may not deserve it, but I'll give it. Very Happy

We are saying the same things over and over.

1) We know James (Jan's Dad) started the fire in emergency.wav. We've known for a while now.
2) emergency.wav comes after you_knew.wav, whether you like it or not.

Please search before posting something "new".

Hey guys, I'd like to point you back over to the General forums again, as this thread is getting monstrous, and we've pretty much talked out the actual files and transcripts.

The General section has many good threads on the speculative nature of what these files contain, so it would be quite lovely if you all joined forces with the folks over there, and let this thread quiet down a bit.

Danke.

I got a good one

I dont think this has been said ( at least I havent seen it) Did anyone think that on each of the boxes where wav files are, it has 5 little boxes of coordiates, but then it also has one last one on each where its covered by the "FUN STUFF" box. Could there actually be a hidden axon for each of them that doesn't get reveales till the others are hot?? just another little thought from the burnout

Bungie is obsessed beyond belief with the number 7. It's unlikely, but possible.

I think the PMs managed to kill the game. They should have made something happen after we unlocked all the wavs. They could have at least sent an e-mail from Melissa somethink like "ok, now u know all i know. now u have to help me repair the damage..." - which would lead to the second phase of the game. But they didn't. This is pretty stupid, cause they aren't telling us what to do now.

Edit: Offensive sig removed -veen
