OK, people, I've got some contact. They are in Danger, we have to help them. I'm waiting for instructions and will report them soon.

And btw check out the hidden board, there's something new perhaps (for everybody, who haven't found it, just pm me - it's just 1 minute to register). And don't forget - even if you just lurk at this game in this and another forum - to write in this board something like "registered". Sorry for so much troubles people

I would say, this forum we can continue to use, we're in two forums now.

Yeah, it's considered "bad pool" for a puppet master (game runner) to make ANY reference to this site. This site is the ARG safe haven and referencing it is considered breaking the 4th wall (meaning the puppet masters stop playing in game and show themselves)

Not all puppet masters understand this, but usually one remark in the UF forum and they comply to the rule.


That being said it IS expected (at least from what I have seen) that the puppet masters READ these forums to see if they need to modify the story (puzzle too hard, things getting off track) but they never use anything posted here against the players storyline wise.

Kolixela... I read the article you posted... while i agree it's seems very on topic, other than some socio-ethno enlightenment into Circassian beliefs and thought processes I don't see really anything relating to us or JJ so far...

I also found the author Seteny Shami and it seems like she is a legit researcher for the Social Science Research Council based out of New York.

Just on a personal note... I found it really poorly written for a research paper... But maybe in her field it's spot on... or she's writing in a second language which would explain it as well...

I agree that it doesnt sound like it is IG, just seemed quite odd to have the name and the culture come up with an article being written a few months back.

I'd guess the article was translated and that is why it doesn't seem to flow in english well..

I just hope to see something going on here soon

The PM has stated specifically that unforums.com is considered in game and comments here will be taken as comments in game.

In response I am removing myself from this game, I am not interested in playing any game where the puppet masters refuse to follow the accepted terms of the ARG community.

This forum is supposed to be off limits, if you continue to play you allow any future puppet master to break this rule and get away with it, don't let them take that away from this board.

There is a post from one of the IG characters that specifically forbids posting any of their comments on unforums.com

The PM has broken the players 4th wall by taking unfiction as being part of their game. That violates the reasoning behing having a site like this, it's where the PLAYERS can make decisions how to react without it risking random speculation killing a character in game.

If the PM doesn't like the thought of his universe being hacked so players can gain an unfair advantage maybe he can stop hacking ours. (don't take this as any form of threat, it was just the best analogy I could come up with)

and once again to the PM, as I have quit your game using my comments through your characters would be... well just wrong
