People, thank you for further researches, but I have a little fear, this Waky thing could be just a big red herring. Surely, iniciated by LOST team. I mean, they found some cool coincidences and have shown them us to make us a little bit crazy. Smile

Indeed, too many coincidences, but just a feeling of a red herring here...

I live in Lexington, Kentucky which is just down the road from WAKY's home in Louisville. I recognized one of the DJ's, Bill Bailey, because he was a local radio personality here when I was in high school. I can't verify anything else, but the info they have about Bill is all true. The site is surely OOG in my opinion.

I'm assuming that most of you are huge fans of LOST and probably have seen the comic-con panel in person or online (Link for those who haven't).

Anyways, Paul Scheer(part of the sketch show Human Giant) presented Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse with a painting of the two being all chummy with a polar bear.

Most people just assumed this was a joke and wasn't related to any viral marketing attempt, but it turns out that the site is registered to ABC and has ABC's privacy policy at the bottom. It gets better.

Over the past few days, Scheer has been contacted by a Ronie Midfew who is some sort of attorney claiming that he is infringing on an intellectual property. BTW, Ronie Midfew Arts is an anagram of Widmore Fine Arts. Midfew's site says "15 will be lost The 16th will be found."

This is all definitely a part of the ARG and I'm surprised that no one has posted this yet. Maybe they have and I'm just reposting it. Anyways, Paul Scheer is having a black velvet screening of new paintings on midnight pst on August 15th. Something is definitely going down that night.

Please tell me they are not attempting to create the ARG to take place in our universe in which Lost is a show and Lindelof and Cuse the creators? Because, seriously, that could be the end of my fandom. If they make that kind of Breaking The 4th Wall crap in any way official or even canon, they will have managed to blow this so close to the finish line...

I know (or believe that I know), TLE with the entire deal about this Bad Twin story, that was all based in "reality", too. But that wasn't as official as Darlton actively being part of it. I guess I should look that up again, before I make false claims.

Also, please tell me that they are not as dumb as throwing some clues out there that lead to a site they haven't registrated, yet?
And if so, the anagram is weak, one word not even being changed and all.

Wooo, I guess don't like this, huh?

But I love the idea of the Lost University. I expect it not to be an ARG, by the way. More of a means to explain some things in more detail for the dedicated crowd, that they have no time for on the show. And to prove who is capable of graduating in the subject of Lost, of course. (I would have to brush up myself, I admit.)

Regarding the image, I just turned the red dark in the picture and looks like a shape forms on the right side, picture attached.
