The audacity file here, poorly edited. I had a lot better sound in sony vegas but i didn't save any of it, i just wrote down what i found. Went back and tried to quickly throw together a compilation of it all, but it's not the greatest.

Also, I'm too lazy and SVPro is a pain in the ass, can anyone hop on windows movie maker or something and get all the clips side by side? I assumed they were just the same clips thrown around through the movie, but if someone could get all of them put together in 'chronological' order, like, all the fetal position-rocking guy clips together, shit would be cool.

Hello, I've been following this and I think I do have an answer to the equation:
He gives us
+ +
23 - 18 - 15 - 14 - 7
x x

23 is a prime number, so I set its value to 1
1+8 is 9, so I set its value to 9
1+5 is 6, so I set its value to 6
14 can be obtained by 2·7, theres a 7 in the end, so I take the 2.

Final result: 1962, got any clue? I'm off to bed.
Somebody check events from 1962, maybe birth date, don't know.

Been trying to brainstorm on location. Tenn was my first thought since it was close to Hazard. However, there is a horror called "Wrong Turn" set in West Virginia. Might be a useless vantage point, but worth considering.

This is an audio file (.wav so it can be played on anything) of the first speach in the original audio. I couldn't open the audio in Audacity that was posted here so I ripped it myself and extracted the first bit of speech that I could hear.

What do you all think it says? I have some ideas, but I want to see if you all can think up something better.

I have Sound Forge 9.0 Professional (registered) and am willing to assist in the audio editing, but I haven't been following the details of this game at all, don't know what I should be looking AT, and don't know what I should be looking FOR...

ETA: And I've been looking at your numerical puzzle... Here's a working theory on the right side at least:

20 - 1 = 19 = S
21 - 1 = 20 = T
18 / 2 = 9 = I
14 / 2 = 7 = G

Here's where I'm not sure...
9 (the "I" above) - 8 =1 = A
7 (the "G" above) - 2 = 5 = E

...or...
18 - 8 = 10 = J
14 - 2 = 12 = N

...which seems even more unlikely.

Maybe that means something to someone, or maybe something more will click in someone's head.

So, maybe each result after transformations are letters for some state.

Tansformation (i don't think this is an equation) gives those results:

-20, -6 (19 - 19 - 1 - 5 = -6)
-20, -14 (19 - 19 - 1 - 7 - 1 - 5 = -14)
-20, -13 (19 - 19 - 1 - 7 + 1 - 5 = -13)

If we use the same logic that we'v used before -20 should be the -20ith alphabet letter, counting from end to start (Maybe this is the "turn"?). This makes sense with "NOTINKY" hint.

When I uploaded the video into windows movie maker it split it in to short video clips, not individual images.

Well I brought it in to Sound Forge... There's something in there, and it sounds clearer run at 2x speed, but there's way too much background noise and the perpetual pulse to make any of it discernable.

I'll see what I can do.
