[PUZZLE,SPEC] another take on axon locations: honeycomb

So, we've got 7 locations per group. Also, some of the locations between groups are pretty close to each other.

What if you took 6 locations from a group -- the ones that were closest to locations in other groups -- and drew a hexagon? since you're trying to share vertices with other groups, you'd end up drawing a mesh of hexagons...

...or, from a bee's point of view, a honeycomb.

You're left with a single point per group. Connect those in some order (the edit order of the clips?) and maybe you'll get something.

Huge conjecture/speculation, of course. But I'll start looking into it.

that is huge spec!! I was just wondering whether 6/7 might be all that's actually possible (they're just not going to call one booth, evar), leaving the 'holes' as another layer of puzzle... the fact that this could leave a hex didn't occur to me! let me know how your geometry goes.. time to eat pizza. i'll check out a few other fishy fishy ideas in this vein later and pop in w/ at least some stuff to eliminate.
