I went here today. 40.733364 -111.899509 17:43 map acme Salt Lake City Utah emergency 2/2 A corner gas station on a major artery during rush hour. I couldn't have gotten in there with a shoe horn. Drove around the block 3 times just looking for a place to park. I'll try again tomorrow

anyway, did anyone try *69? i was at the ann arbor axon this morning, but i don't think we tried *69 -- i left right after i confirmed that the axon was hot.

Sorry, I've been really busy at work today, so this is a very late response, but no one has said anything about it yet so...

BEER: Bensenville, IL location, 14:56PDT hot axon, we did it. It didn't work. The automated phone co. message said it could not do it. So it gets you nowhere... (and before anyone asks, we DID put money in the phone when doing this)

Edit - oh yeah, and this was on the 24th, so while they could have thought of it in advance, the theory wasn't put on the forum yet, so it wasn't one of those things they could have read about then taken access away from us in hindsight...

Alright..does anyone know if it would be possible to call the operator from a payphone and get the number of whoever just called the payphone? If so, you could do this to find Melissa's number, unless they have something in place to block it..

By the way, this may be horrendous trout, but has anyone tried looking for embedded text in the progress gauges?

EDIT: Wait, nevermind. I just hit view image, and the progress meters are just the fun stuff picture shifted around so the text doesn't show completely.

Anyone headed back to the San Diego Zoo today? Can anyone bring a GPS unit so that we can confirm our location? Did anyone cover the bank of phones down at the Vet's Center? Is it worth trying for?

No, no, yes, and yes. It rang in the bank of phones in the front of the Zoo. I even went in the Vets center, nothing. Crying or Very sad

I have come up with some concepts and ideas i thought id through your way.

First (may have already been discussed) the axon concept. axons are essentialy the connecting arms for nurons. so i belive that the only way to make a fully functioning nuron would be to activate all the axon. i think we all agree on this at this point.

Second. I have taken a look at the axon groups. I belive that these points were not chosen at random. for example all axons for the hi_aiden group are located along the pacific coast, those for blip, along the east. so I belive that there is some meaning in the axon group locations.

Third. Could the axon groups be constelation groupings? the durga group fit with the Casiopia constelation and hi_aden match either aries or ursa minor. Im going to try to work on these more and if some one will let me know where i can post some images, i will can post the maps with each grouping.

does this make any sence to anyone else or just me and my brother (who wants some credit for the constelation idea)

I have attached a map of two of the axon groups hi_aiden and durga as well as the new axon locations.

This being the SPEC thread and all:

The phone calls are the only communication method we have with Melissa and the Flea. These new axons are supposedly secret for the two of them. Maybe we need to convince Melissa we're the Flea.

Anyone want to take a shot at reading some of the Flea code into a payphone?

- Per

Interesting info: This latest "secret" axon did get the overall progress bar to click up one notch and give us 120 of 777 from 119 of 777. SO, that tells us that we're closer to the "more axons will appear to allow us to hit 777" theory than anything else (currently. I am fully aware that this game could go in any unforeseen direction...)

Maybe Melissa will hit a critical mass and figure out how to make the axons go hot without her crew's assistance. So we won't have to actually find 777 of them. Shocked

according to payphone directory there's 7 phones in that vicinity, none however were directly @ the coordinates.. i'll try to get down there on time today

Has anyone been keeping track of the phone numbers of the axons? I wouldn't be suprised if there was a pattern.
