I wouldn't be surprised if we got a recording of that conference call.

...or if we can somehow ATTEND the conference call...

Hmm. Going back to that tweet about 51 possibly being EA, could it be a new game from EA Dice?

About those names in the document:

Elias A. = EA

S. Folder = SF = ?

And this last name is very weird, which makes me think this wild spec might have a point...

Max Weilder II = M WII

EA (SMF) WII

EA game for the Wii?

However, EA Dice certainly sounds like a fantastic match. And they don't do any Wii games, at all, it appears.

Or if the 51=EA connection is a red herring, perhaps it is a date, just like the other dice on the main page. Something happens on the 1st of March next year? Or has happened on the same day of the current year. It sounds unlikely to have it so far in advance.

I guess next up, on the 18th, is the recording of that call from the day before.

The MWII made me immediately think of Modern Warfare 2, but EA isn't involved in that game at all. As for 51 possibly being a date, I think it'd actually be January 5th. The letters used UK time formatting(18/8, instead of 8/18). Plus, on page three it even metions UK: "UK/SEATAC 2009". SEATAC more than likely means Seattle airport. Not sure about the UK part though.

But I doubt 51 is a date.

Heh, well, there ya go. They really wanna make sure they let us know they're gonna be at PAX. Razz

Doing a bit more searching there is a EA UK, though I'm not really sure where it leads.

Several thoughts on the files:

file1:
...the call is being moderated by project leader R _ _ _ N. Possibly B _ _ _ N.
My first instinct was RYAN, but there are too many letters. Possibly a name like RONIN or BRIAN. What else fits into R _ _ _ N?

file2:
Am I the only one who noticed that LAUNCH is spelled LAYUNCH?
A close examination of the marked out area below 9/4 leads me to think that it either said "tee? tshirt" or "fee? tshirt" (possibly tee + shirt / fee + shirt)

file3:
"DD 51" looks like a signature.
Background says "51 INITIAVE ACTIVE MARK" (another spelling error)
Background says "51 INITIAVE ACTIVE, GAME RE" RESET?

file4:
The background image is obviously the same button image we saw here.
Background says "51 SEAL ACTIVE APPROVED"

file5:
"august 2 (6 days to go)" Were either august 8th or July 27th important?
"august 13, 18, 2" is a weird format, but I think it's really "2" and not "2_"
Is the "D" he's supposed to give it to the same person as "DD" above?
The logo in the bottom right is of course the same "seal" from the button.

www.whatis51.com/phase2/ is a redirect, with the title of "Phase 2 - I have a face." The source was unremarkable.

Could that project leader's name also start with a P? That's the first letter I thought of when I saw it. But even if we do get the name I'm not sure how that'll help us much.

I didn't notice LAYUNCH. That, along with the lowercase e might mean something. Dunno what, however. Not sure about the 'LAUNCH 009' at the bottom either.

It could also be 'free tshirt', possibly handed out at PAX?

A clue was revealed on August 8th, according to its twitter feed. 13, 18, 2 has me confuzzled. I agree that it's simply '2', and not '2_'. There doesn't appear to be any blurring out.

I know we knew numbers on the dice, I was referring to the confusion over "august 13, 18, 2" Razz
