Yeah, maybe they realized that was in pretty poor taste. I almost feel bad for whatever this thing ends up advertising, if anything.

This has been done in every ARG or viral game ever. Things posted on this forum are not supposed to be in game. That's the point of the forums. I dunno how long you've been here. :\

And for the record I think this game is stupid and so are the PMs. Not that anyone cares, I just wanted it to be known.

Well based on my post count and the fact that I said I was new here and have never participated in an ARG I think it is a fair assessment that I haven't been hear long. In any case that's why I asked if what I suggested was plausible. I guess I didn't realize the ARG within and ARG thing and the blurring of IG and OOG was so common, but that's why I asked.

Have to agree with the "all's fair in love and war" philosophy.

You "veterans" sure carry around a lot of entitlement assuming that just because someone creates an interactive online game it has to adhere to your community's definitions of an ARG. I mean, how presumptuous is that.

Does unfiction own all games and set their rules in eternity? Very Happy

Of course not. Rules and conventions have evolved as the medium innovates and finds new potentials.

If you don't like this experience that is fine. Go leave, just spare us the whining. If you want to play nice, play nice. If you want to be antagonistic IG go ahead, just don't cry so much.

Can we get back to some clue analysis. PLEASE!

okay i don't know all the rules of arg's, but i think this probably woulndn't considered to be "okay":

based on google maps I suspect that there is no Lenin Street in Beloretsk. Might have better luck calling inf someone has the balls to do it

Some of those from the video feed sound like they might have distorted voices. Anyone try analyzing?

I saw that too. But I dont think thats Beloretsk. search for beloretsk and then compare the two. The one you searched for is in Moscow
