haha Ever, I was just about to post the Delta Particles find, but it seems you beat me to it.
I looked through the previous journal, to find nothing. However, there IS something that is bothering me... the 6-12-24 symbols. (attached below)
It seems almost TOO cryptic you know?
6-12-24 with simple number>letter substitution is [FLX], which means nothing.
Hmm, have to look into this.

I had two thoughts about this.. perhaps it refers to time, in the military time sense.. or, because of the arrows (well, kind of arrows), I wondered if it might refer to a combination padlock.

ah man, that is awesome.
I will be arriving in San Francisco on Sept. 5th. Hopefully it will be around for a while... I mean I dont see it ending anytime soon.
And Duck, when you go... maybe keep that "6-12-24" code in the back of your mind.
That may be a clue, but you can only solve it by viewing the journal in-person.
I don't know... just a thought.

The token.
Everfalling and myself recently embarked on an epic quest...to find the TOKEN!!!
Though meant to be a day time activity any one who knows me knows that it's either between midnight and 3am or it ain't happening. So through the cover of night, after we figured out the first clue we went. After we got there a hobo scared us but left us alone ( as they are most noble). We went in through the unlocked fence and searched. My good sir we searched. Luckily everfalling found the club house. The first brick we upturned had our first able to hold clue. We of course called it a night and after doughnuts and drinks went home.
Few days later...
We embarked on the second half. Finding palms and diamonds ( which unfortunately had no players seeing as it was midnight). We trod up towards the path un-marked. We found the place where druids had set up a small temple in the form of spiral...found the block of wood with e elsewhere symbol...searched and searched then once again called it a night.
Few days later...
Told to DIG DEEPER!!! We did and we found the cache. Under the same block we kinda looked under. From there the cache told us to use the map...which we have yet to unlock.
TO BE CONTINUTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(btw these aren't time wasters...they are mind expanders....an adventure)
[btw if you think too hard into what you are doing you aren't going to have any fun...role play it]

This lists a different address for Eva. It appears to be on the Filbert St. steps, right at the base of Coit Tower.

Looking at Beth's postcard to Eva about "moving off the main road" and "getting away from tourists" seems to sum up this entire experience very well.
Before starting all of this, I had NO idea what San Francisco held. It's amazing the things we get to see once everything starts.
Just something that really stood out to me.

i went up to Coit Tower tonight to check out Eva's old house. as you can see from the google maps view it's no longer there but i thought it'd be worth it to see if there was anything there that might help. All I found out was that it had fantastic access to the tower and an even more fantastic view of the city scape.

Visiting the Prelinger Library (first visit)
I visited -- for the first time -- the Prelinger Library today.
You may read about my experiences here. http://web.me.com/smross314/personal/Jejune_ARG_blog/Entries/2009/8/23_A_Visit_to_the_Perlinger_Library.html
I include links to the scanned photos.
There is a lot to be read! and scanned. I did not manage to scan even half of Eva's journal.
I want to suggest a tag team approach to scanning Eva's journal. This means whenever any one visits, they first determine how far the previous person scanned. Then continue the scanning from that point.
I skipped the pages that were already posted in the blog. And I skipped the pages that had cut paper pasted on the pages of the journal book.
I got as far as her writing about a necklace from her mother? and a drawing with a ball in a circle on the facing page.
Some one else may take it from there.
