Same here, but I was getting the teleportation feeling from it... although... They call it "phase shift"? And Phase shifts involve time, so it's more like.... time jump?

I don't exactly know, and I'm sure the NyQuil isn't helping.

Can anyone who actually understands this, explain?

Oo, I just read Asphodel's post. Quantum effect... Of course, that makes me think of that old TV series, Quantum Leap. Traveling through time, space, and dimensions.

our main goal at the moment needs to be on finding a way to access a console of Alfa-Tsentr's so we can look up where Rei is located and relay that to the Junsui

no luck in the flash...

my idea:
-proxy an email to alfa-tsenter/men of taste through a russian ip (maybe even type the email in russian)
-get hired
-get access to console

Good idea.

One thing's certain; AT asks for Company Name, etc, a lot of info when you apply, so we'd need to create a company for them, and at least a little background on the "character' that sounds true enough.

We've tried this (our IPs are 100% Russian and we speak Russian as well) and it resulted in nothing.

 		TBH, I really don't get the teleportation / time travel vibe from this at all.

I can really only see two possible applications of this (not to rule out others I haven't thought of). In both cases I don't understand the relevant physics at all and am completely pulling stuff out of my arse, even by science fiction standards.

First, Wikipedia says "a charged particle ... experiences a phase shift ... despite the magnetic field being zero in the region through which the particle passes". This suggests that it might be possible to create an Aharonov-Bohm EMP that can penetrate a Faraday cage. I very much doubt this is what's going on here unless the Junsui are androids, which is unlikely in turn.

Second, the general Neopagan veneer of the Junsui suggests that the experimenters could be using the A-B effect to affect (enhance? suppress? deceive?) some sort of psychic powers that the Junsui may have. I am rather more partial to this explanation than the other, though it's still not very likely.

 		BTW, I compared the size of 174.133.240.117/main.swf and 174.133.240.117/stream.swf and they have NOT been changed, so nothing changed there.
Edit: I mean I compared the sizes before (two days ago) and now.
