Confederacy of Dunces

Jamison used the phrase "Confederacy of Dunces" to describe the citizens of Push.
John Kennedy Toole wrote a Pullitzer Prize winning novel by the same title. The main character in the novel is Ignatius Reilly.

Could this indicate something about Ignatius Henderson, the deceased curator of the Cactuc Museum?

Ironically, at least in light of the odd deaths in Push, the author of this book committed suicide...or was it really a MIB cover-up? Smile
