Have you noticed that dates on the THENFRIEND video were all very close to solsctice, therefore we can say that they were doing some experiments with that unnamed sister in 2001 on solstice and perhaps are going to do the same to Rhea? Therefore we might have time limit till December, 22 OR (which is more likely) till September, 22.

I just got into this whole thing, so I'm uncertain if this will be of any use, or indeed, if it has been posted before, but I managed to dig up some more information about the norwegian island (being norwegian myself). It is named Karlsøya ("Karl's Island"), with the northern arm being named Nordøya ("North Island") and the southern arm being named Sørøya ("South Island"). It is part of the Karlsøyvær nature reserve and bird protection area. All wildlife and vegetation in the area is protected. The island group has also been marked as a Ramsar area since 2002.

As far as I can see, there are no records of any kind of worship going on at the location, though I'll try to look into it a little more.

A map of the surrounding island group:
http://nordland.miljostatus.no/dm_documents/Kart_Karlsoyv%C3%A6r_naturreservat_44rXw.pdf

Information about the island group (mostly in norwegian):
http://nordland.miljostatus.no/dm_documents/Informasjonsplakat_Karls%C3%B8yv%C3%A6r_naturreservat_wGmo3.pdf

The Ramsar Convention:
http://www.ramsar.org/cda/ramsar/display/main/main.jsp?zn=ramsar&cp=1_4000_0__
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramsar_Convention

Well, I talked to two people from the area: an avid hiker that's been to the island several times, as well as a middle-aged teacher who would have been very likely to know anything out of the ordinary about the island's history, but there's nothing. The only thing special about the place is its status as a Ramsar-protected area, and because of this it is an extremely popular spot for birdwatchers. Maybe there's something there. Birdwatchers, little bird.

Or maybe the name has some relevance ("Karl's Island"). Gwaschemasch'e's mentor (Guido Karl Anton List) has Karl as part of his name. And there was a german Kaiser around the appropriate time that was named Karl, though that was a full 8 years after Gwaschemasch'e's apparent relocation to Germany.

I don't see what connection either of these would have to an island in Norway though. I'm probably just grasping at straws again.

Within the last few minutes the feed at http://www.showpages.net/ATFeed.html went blank, and the title was removed. It now has code to link to The Junsui facebook.

EDIT: There is now white text on the site stating "Now is no longer the time, but mayhaps it will be again someday".

The Junsui has been active on facebook tonight, admonishing repliers, and promptly deleting the poster's, and their own, posts. If I hadn't been madly refreshing, I would have missed what The Junsui said to me.

And, while we're at it...

1) I'm no longer getting the MySQL error, no matter how many times I go to the page.

2) After the whole set of sequences, it redirects to the "THENFRIEND" Vimeo page. I thought it went to FB as well, but don't remember for sure.

Could they be disassociating themselves from Facebook?

I very much hope so, it's been a very bad start to an ARG choosing facebook.

I hope they concentrate on the websites such as
http://shineisei.jp/ and http://alfa-tsentr.ru/en/

have tried to make more out of http://www.shnock.com/alfa-tsentr-5072/ as well. As the site is just created for the alfa tsentr news.

is this junko?

This was a triumph.
I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.
Jamantau Mountain
We do what we must
because we can.
For the good of all of us.
Except the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
And the Science gets done.
And you make a neat gun.
For the people who are still alive.
I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart.
And killed me.
And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because I was so happy for you!
Now these points of data make a beautiful line.
And we're out of beta.
We're releasing on time.
So I'm Rhea. I got burned.
Think of all the things we learned
for the people who are still alive.
Go ahead and leave me.
I think I prefer to stay inside.
Maybe you'll find someone else to help you.
Maybe Stonehenge
THAT WAS A JOKE.
HAHA. FAT CHANCE.
Anyway, this cake is great.
It's so delicious and moist.
Look at me still talking
when there's Science to do.
When I look out there, it makes me GLaD I'm not you.
I've experiments to run.
There is research to be done.
On the people who are still alive.
And believe me I am still alive.
I'm doing Science and I'm still alive.
I feel FANTASTIC and I'm still alive.
While you're dying I'll be still alive.
And when you're dead I will be still alive.

You're kidding, right?

Those are the lyrics to Still Alive, the theme from Valve's Portal, by Johnathan Coulton.

I posted and deleted some of my own posts, because they were frankly kind of embarassing for anyone unfamiliar with this whole thing and I am using my primary account.
