Thanks for the heads up about the TEDO blog! Having not played RB I wasn't aware how recent it was.

It may be tough now that Rhea's dead, getting info on them could be hard. But has anyone tried contacting Mr. de Hill about all this? He sounds fishy but maybe we could get some info out of him, anything to help, you know?

And considering the Eve's have met, maybe there's another OP who can help in some way. But it might be hard locating the second.

What's the progress on Eve helping out? I'm going to send her a message and see what's going on to try and come up with some ideas to help out our locked up friends and OP's family. Maybe she can contact them too, OP's family may know something or other.

Also, does OP still have his stone? Aren't we worried about him becoming corrupt? I think we need to be careful about that and the information we give him, especially if TEDO have tracked him so easily. Keep him in the loop but don't reveal too much maybe?

I think that Eve said that our break out plan was going to have to be put on hold, since there were so many officers around examining Rhea's death. Also, the new director has stepped up security, I think. In other words, breaking our friends out is going to have to wait for now, if I'm not mistaken. After things calm down over there a bit, Eve will probably be more up for it.

But does this also mean their treatment will be put on hold? I'm worried that Mr. de Hill, being as shady as he is, will be continuing their treatment in a bid to kill them, or at least to get information out of them. Does that not seem a possibility to anyone else? I'm going to contact de Hill as a family member and see if I can find out what his plans are for them.

So, this stone that he has is one that we believe will erode his soul if he tries to use it? In other words, we should try to talk him out of this course of action?

How did he figure out what it was?

I'm not sure, but according to players of the last game it is a stone created by TEDO to imitate the white stones found on Abie and Tylean, the ones that grant immortality. This black stone was a success with the only drawback being that it corrupts the soul.

We don't kow what he's going to do but I have a feeling he may not be safe. I'm not sure we can talk him out of it but we should try all the same, he trust us right? Maybe he'll listen.

Still haven't got replies from any of the emails I've sent, not sure that I will at all considering OP edited the blog earlier but didn't reply to my message which I sent a while ago now. May have to take a back seat on this one if I can't get replies, but I'd implore those in contact with OP to get some answers and quick, and let us know what's happening.

I agree, this does seem odd, especially since he's been so fearful up until now. But I think it's him. Just a feeling, but I think he's discovered the immortality factor of the stone and has gone to save his family. Maybe he doesn't know the side effects, or maybe he doesn't care, but that's my theory. Just waiting to hear from him, Eve and this de Hill character.

There doesn't seem to be an anagram in Helmut Yuletide Salmot, maybe it needs translation? I don't know if the name means anything but I'm looking for some info now.

EDIT: Nothing except what Yuletide means, alot about Salmon and the Urban Dictionary definition of Salmon Helmet, which I don't think is pertinent really.

Might turn out to just be an odd name after all.

Interesting things about Helmut's name:

Did a search for the meaning of Salmot, found this: http://tinyurl.com/loqrls (it was a long url, it's a google book search result) Acoording to the highlighted text, "salmot" means darkness or obscurity. Certainly sounds like TEDO, huh?

And apparently Helmut is actually a name, but a very rare one. Actually does mean "helmet"

Got a couple of replies here. Use of the name Frank in both emails is the alias I'm using, Frank Jaeger. Asked OP why he chose the name he did and why he thought he was being targeted.

OP: I'm not sure what OP stands for Frank, O.P Smith was just something the old man told me to use as an alias. I think that the targeting of my family and I is related to my finding them at the mountain and also I think now it has something to do with the stone that the old man gave me. I guess he must have taken it from them. At first I cursed him for it. But now I realise why he gave it to me. The stone has such power you cannot believe it. With it I will free my family. With it we will not need to fear again. I am sorry if this reply is late (I see you sent it 8 hours ago). I have been packing all night and now I'm about to head out to the airport. So I'll not be able to reply for a while.

Replied and warned him that the stone will corrupt him and not to use it without discussing it with one of us but recieved the same auto-reply as RAD.

Also got a reply from de Hill, he's an awfully rude character. Asked him about the possibility of transferring Abie and Tylean (without using names) to our local Hospital to be cared for by our local doctor and what the status of the patients is.

I don't know what your family has told you, but my patients are in a very delicate state at the moment. They cannot be transferred. They are also not in any condition to speak with anyone else. They are very ill.

Kindly allow us to do our job. The surgery is planned for early next week.
