@Classical -

The bunny costume was worn by Donnie's sisters boyfriend, but the bunny that kept appearing to him "Frank" was just part of Donnie's fractured psyche. It was a portrayal of Donnie's dark-half. Whom he blamed all the bad things on, for instance when the school statue was beheaded, etc. IN essence - he is/was the bunny. So what does this say about Bricker?

Wait wait wait, could that mean the Bricker's "bunny", so-to-speak is...Rage?

That's kinda what I'm thinking - except Bricker has multiple bunnies...

Of course don't take this as gospel, I'm just speculating.

I actually think that the Locomotive Breath thing was not that we're running out of steam, but more that we're reaching the end and we have to keep going until that end, despite what we might encounter.

And I wanna say our traitor might be Randall, but you've made an interesting point, Wulf... methinks I may try emailing Rage right now...

Well, that all happened rather fast. Bricker's in danger, someone is a traitor, and now we have creepy bunnies running around in our heads. The ironic thing is that the rest of Donnie Darko fits in really well to this game. I was thinking about it before. I won't go into details, because I don't want to spoil the movie, but if you've seen it, you should be able to draw the same parallels as I have.

As far as the traitor goes, we only have four people that we are remaining in contact with: Port, Rage, Bricker, and Randall. As far as I can tell, Port and Bricker probably aren't the traitors because neither of them have anything to gain, and stand to lose everything, by betraying us. Not to mention that it was Port who warned about the traitor, and we were warned to protect Bricker. Which leaves Rage and Randall, neither of which I'm too keen on trusting. Though to be fair, Rage has done more to earn our trust than Randall has.

So if Randall's the traitor, what did he do? I mean, he only has our email addresses. He's not aware of the whereabouts of Bricker or Port and Rage, is he? It sounds to me like we just need to tell Bricker not to go to the cemetery, and to get himself in hiding.

Then again, what if Randall isn't the traitor and we miss him at the cemetery on the 31st?

Remember that Randall thinks Port and Rage are fictional, i.e. they don't exist in his reality, the one that he and Bricker exist in. So anything that he could possibly do would be to Bricker or, perhaps, whichever Watcher hired him to help us.

That said, Rage has always been somewhat unpredictable, which is why I'm hoping he'll respond to my email...

Replied to ask what exactly he was writing, so let's see if he will let us in on it...

Come to think of it, who is Hatch telling to Run?

Didn't Rage kill all the watchers besides Holly?

Well, he got all that were hanging around at the California safehouse, aside from Holly. I've assumed there are still agents scattered about (Hatch is one of them), but just nowhere near the concentration they had before. Which is why perhaps they had to hire outside help (Randall)?

Wooo, that was fast.

Strangely enough, this does not make me feel any better about all this.

I hate text for one reason: You can't hear the intonation of Bricker's voice when he says that.

This sounds pretty ominous. The only thing missing is an evil laugh.

If it's to be our contingency plan, it may not come into play yet, but important to store into memory. *tucks it away with the rest of her random trivia*

Personally, I'm back to thinking Bricker needs a good kick in the shins.

The writer I pretend to be sometimes says: Bricker's in danger because he's writing the end. One of the characters in play (be it Rage or this Randall or Lincoln or whatever) doesn't want the story finished.

Man. Honestly? I just don't even know anymore.
Right now I'm just hoping Bricker will share what exactly he's writing and then I'll make my call from there.

edit;;
I asked through Rage if I could talk to Port--he d'tweeted me, so he's all fine and well, at least. So I don't think Rage was the one the traitor warning was about, but with Bricker writing, who knows.

edit edit;;
The 'foldedbrood' blog (the one that had the Arlen Rage Blues on it) was updated, simply with this:

The older post with the Arlen Rage Blues on it had the image updated and the colored letters taken out of it. So... Wulf... I think you might be onto something...

Ok - things just got a lot frickin stranger.

Classy - remember when we saw Bricker walking off to dinner with whom we assumed was his wife? Did you get a good look at her? *twitch*

I sent a quick email to Brian, asking him if anything on the GPs portal looked familiar - *twitch*
Quote:
Justin,

Besides being creepy almost all of it is familiar. I see a picture of what the Brightman looks like, the Donnie Darko bunny with a quote from the movie on the back, a Thomas Lincoln picture that is going to give me nightmares, a picture of your friend Randall (per the back anyway), and my Entered Apprentice lodge notification. All set to 'Hurt' by a now dead Johnny Cash - originally a NIN song, right?

Any help?

I've got the 31st on my schedule and actually went by that old cemetery this morning to find the right section.

I have the first sentence done on the end of the story! It's slow going, but anything beyond a blank screen is success at this point.

--Brian

Need I point out the obvious? Randall? I would've thought that was Bricker's wife - that's why I'm asking if classy remembers what she looked like. Is his wife screwing with his brain? Or is someone painting her as the villian? Kinda like the bunny Frank..? A song by Cash, originally done by NiN?

I'm carefully choosing my words in my response to him..

=edit=
My mistake, NiN did write the song, and Cash recorded it later.. hurh.. learn something new everyday I guess.

I...only saw her back that one time in the lobby. I never saw her face, or I would've remembered it... but she did have dark, short hair...

edit;; man, I need to turn on my speakers, because I didn't even realize there was music on the portal page. |D Defs is "Hurt" by NIN, covered by Cash.
