The fake google page at 174.133.240.117 now redirects to the thenfriend video, instead of taking you to the (recently blank) video stream.

Anyone know what is going on?

I can't give details about the project because I signed an NDA, but Junko Junsui was a project for Japan New Health that I worked on. But that was nearly 2 years ago, and it got cancelled for lack of funding.

maven is another distraction.
as is marckesano leaving supposed "weaknesses" in the security of his identity within the game.

why else would Won You be referencing, Japan New Health, an IG company via an email stating that it's no longer running due to lack of funding.

They could've just said they had a NDA without saying that the project was done for an IG company.

That would be like me running a flash design company and emailing people that I was working on a project for Alfa-Tsentr but nothing came of it due to lack of funding.

Fake Google site

Surely the Google suits would shut down the fake google site operating at http://174.133.240.117/

I can't believe Google would allow their brand to be used in conjunction with this mess of an ARG.

Also, if you dug deep enough, every other ARG had breadcumbs that led to a big entertainment giant (as the ARG is thier intellectual property) - this one doesn't.

They also seem to break the terms and conditions of sites like Youtube, and get things pulled.

None of this fits a pattern of a regular ARG. wft is going on?

Not all ARG's are done by, or for, major corporations.

Findings Cedar Rapids was one about 18 months back that I played, and enjoyed, and it was done by a small group with little or no outside funding.

Most are, but not all
