random history lesson for y'all
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2003/mar/10/3
i'll have a look into the wait 13 seconds name, post/edit if anything crops up
EDIT: not sure if this means anything or not, but the guy who made it put "run down" as the tag, either he tried not to give any clues, or he doesn't know it's been redesigned, and this is all a wild goose chase :/

I agree with Luke, it's gotta be someone that lives in the houses that were built there. Maybe that's the challenge? Finding the house too? But then we don't have anything to go on besides the photo really, right? And how can they person who created the page know we're pursuing it if we can't contact them? I have a feeling we won't be getting any more clues for this one, and yet I really don't want this to die!

Little tidbit.. I was messing around with the link..
just adding random words to the end of it.. and I kept getting "Url not found"
http://wait13seconds.tumblr.com/boots
http://wait13seconds.tumblr.com/factory
Ect... ect.
then I typed..
http://wait13seconds.tumblr.com/answer
and I got a permission denied page.
I just thought it was interesting that it was different.

The problem is, it's been a month since it started and I can't see anything that's been left remaining untouched for a full month. I'll still go later on though, just in case.

the lack of updates could just be due to the lack of finding anything there..
or contacting him
or even finding how to contact him
he could be watching this thread for all we know :/

True, but then don't we think there would have been some form of update? And considering it's such a big area he can hardly expect one person to search the whole place for a clue unles there's some big billboard with his email address on (which I doubt somehow). I'll keep with it for now but it's not looking good.

i know what ye mean...
the only clue i could think of would be something with "wait 13 seconds" on it..
hopefully if anything is found, it'd have a clue as to how to contact W13S or another puzzle/location to find

maybe we need to look into the title more. Maybe the clue is in the 'Wait 13 Seconds?'

Any idea what the favicon is?
Isn't it usually the profile pic for tumblr?

13 seconds is used in reference to the 1970 shootings at Kent University, not sure how that has ANYTHING to do with anything.
Maybe we need to contact Jim Smillie, the photographer?
Otherwise, No clue.

Nice find, locky!
As for "wait 13 seconds", could it be referring to this from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_station
Quote:
Clapham Junction, in south London, is the busiest by rail traffic, with one train every 13 seconds at peak times

I don't know, it's too vague. the photographer won't be able to help either. I assume it's an old picture, and even if it isn't it was hosted on another website before w13s, and I doubt the PM asked permission to use the photo.

Just back and I'm right, the site is redeveloped into a new school and housing estate. Absolutely nothing notable there which makes me think someone has just used the picture as a stock image.

Yeah, it was undeniably vague.
Oh well, thanks for checking it out!
