I found this website after Googling the word "obfuscatus." Yes that is my name on this forum, and a lot of other ones. Actually that is why I was searching it, but I don't really feel like explaining why other than that I was trying to find one of my old forum accounts. Looks like a possible ARG that may start soon. Whatever it is it's definitely suspicious. And no I am not a PM attempting a fail-launch of an ARG.

Looks like it has potential. It is interesting, hovering over the without clicking on it changes the counter dramatically. Leaving the counter by itself, the number will change in a small way. In the brief, superficial look that I did, a pattern did not jump out at me.
I will await the promised "enigmatic" content.
?Will enigma code be used

A quick look at the counter javascript implies the numbers string is randomly generated each mouseover. Don't think there's a pattern at all. I'm thinking this may just be a placeholder for something someone's working on. If it was found completely by chance, and has been registered since 2003...

I doubt it's anything. When you click on the ? button on the middle of the page, it defines the word then says "this website is reserved for a future project. In time, these pages will be replaced with something no less enigmatic but rather more extensive."
It looks like just a personal project page that someone started and never bothered to finish.

I think you are right if it was registered that long ago

Meta-tags in the data give the following list:
Obfuscatus, Kurrel, Mota, Megan, Conra, Sir Basil Deblus, Mark Morrison, Ragen, Cutter
Don't know what that means, looks like user names.

This is not a game, this is not even an active website. Best to let this die. Oh well.
