But didn't the original coordinates show up in the ocean and it turned out the Island was shaped differently? So it could be underwater (which sounds a little too James Bond to me) or just a piece of land or another Island that does't exist in the This? I'm sorry my memory is so bad and I wasn't really invilved in the clompass, it was over my head tbh.

Edit: actually there IS 04 in the set if you read the 54 going straight down and then the 04 going straight across... Granted that leaves a HUGE decimal going left-right...

I'm not so sure about the 'coordinates over the sea' theory anymore actually. I'm pretty sure we're looking for the rift as OP said he found the lair already and it was destroyed, so why would we be on a chase for that?

If it's a rift, how likely is it that it's over the ocean?

OP only found the TEDO base in ThisWorld, it was destroyed. If the TEDO are big in ThatWorld, they have more than enough funds and power to be somewhere else, even underwater or on an oil platform...

I agree, but like I said, I don't know that we're looking for a base. ThatTEDO themselves said that their Evandale chapter was totalled in the volcanic eruption that caused so much havoc at the hospital and was the sunject of the first vid.

AUZ tried it yesterday in chat. The N to S, then W to E thing. He also tried to take W to E first on the outside then on the inside of the smaller circles. And I tried left part first, then right part of those circles.

It's possible that the notation in decimal degree rather than those hour-minute-second notation is used. But even then, you still take a splash in the ocean.

Any way you do it, you end up in the water. And I still think that's exactly where you are supposed to end up. The new clue does nothing to change this opinion. In fact, it sounds like proof to me.

It's very close to the Isle of Man, the 54 and 04 for lat and long, respectively, work out far too nicely (with the poem, specifically) for it to be wrong. Just my view on this.

I guess we are supposed to deliver these coordinates to ThatEve and let her tell Tylean and Abie?
In this case, I suggest taking those from N to S (in the green circle) in order and those from W to E (smaller circles), also in order.

By the way, why do we think this is the location of the rift? It's the TEDO logo. Doesn't that mean the coordinates must be related to them? Their outpost?

The reason I thought it was the rift was because ThatTEDO's outpost was destroyed in the volcanic eruption at Evandale North, so we couldn't have been looking for a totalled lair. Also, due to new evidence it looks like these coordinates may be false, as ThisEve has asked for help with the map and ThatTEDO themselves stated they planted a false one as they knew ThisEve would betray them.

Looks like we're waiting on this info about the Beacon

Aww, sorry Abraxas and all others who worked so hard on this one. We should have been given that info earlier really, we would have never solved it without the last message. I feel bad for you guys, you did work! But, don't discount the new coordinates, I'm asking ThatEve to tweet ThisEve to send us everything she needs help solving, it could be that she has another fake map and what we have is genuine. This could even be the beacon clue!

That's not it. I just ask myself why we need to solve it if it's fake. I mean, ThisEve is already there, as I understand. It must be a plot vehicle.
But yeah, we pretty much just dismissed it in chat. Or rather, I didn't outright dismiss it, but somehow forgot to let anyone know.
(Here's the truth. I ate au gratin potatoes, which I should not have. I know it, but I tried it, maybe I have a psychological resistance to it? I almost forgot I can't take it well. Until I ate half of it and wasn't feeling too well. You can ask Blue. I signed off pretty quickly after that... But I was fine, it went away.)

I just remembered there was a symbol like this on Rhea Soutaine. Might this one have been the real one? Can ThatEve get her hands on some photos taken from the crime scene?
